  1. Please help... for the last few months I can not go to the forum here. I always see a page that says I do not have permission. I can go into the profile here in the mods section and check moderation for warnings and I have no warnings. Several members have tried to message me but I can not reply. What did I do wrong? I see my premium status is still active so I would guess I am not banned? I have cleared my browser content and cookies and tried other browsers no help. I can not contact moereators so I am posting here. Please help.

  3. It is sad. This situation is sad. I am sorry for you all. Is it still communication and lack of documentation? Clear communication was a problem back when I used to read here. Frustration with having to spend more time learning technology rather than playing the games leads to skimming forums and poor searches for information. It takes a lot of patience and diligence to keep up with the needs of users of an application, especially when that application is changing. I hope these problems can be resolved. I remember the times I hosed my installations with ModOrganiser. It was brutal and when I found a way to get back up and running without starting over it was satisfying. To be honest I kept a seperate hard drive and did a weekly backup of the whole ModOrganiser application folder and the games folders as well. LOL overkill? Ask yourself, would you be so upset if you could "go back" to last weeks setup? Now you all can yell at me for a while for being such a smart as-s. LOL :^P
  4. thank you for the fime information. thank you for taking the time to reply so elloquintly. Jowever, I am well aquanted with how spellcheck works. I have resigned myself to using Notpad++ and the fine spell checking provided through a partener of theirs. I have always had this problem with Nexus. I reported about it as Sativarg and now as noritep. Interestingly, the same thing happens at the official forums for bethesda, or ant least it did when I was allowed to post there. LOL I immagine the same or a very similar editor is used at both sites. As you can see I spell like crap. I will not bother to pull up Notepad++ for this. It is a bit of a hasstle and I do not have it set up for my impared vision yet. If I have anything really important to post I will consider setting it up again. UPDATE: I am using Clipboard Help+Spell Clipboard Help+Spell Deluxe Clipboard Utility that automatically saves a history of text items copied to the clipboard, with tons of configurable options, super easy search, favorites storage, super powerful text modification dialog with preview window. It is great and has a great spell checker. I am not sure what is wrong with Firefox. It does not like this sites editor at all. I have honestly tried a lot of things to get it to work here. I used to have trouble at several other site's. I have been able to work with settings at those sites to get firefox to spell there. Some times it is as simple as checking the option to check spelling in the correct field. I believe this site may be protectted by some security to prevent "botts" from spamming here. Perhaps this prevents firefox from interacting with the edit fields that are so protected. If I am correct then this is a good thing and if it is a good thing then great.
  5. I had surgery and now I can see better. I want to play some games and I will adapt the games or myself until I can play as well as I used to.
  6. How do I fix this. I can spell check if I disable the scripts from Nexus but with the richtext editor on no spell checking for my firefox either. Restarting with addons disabled has no effect. I like the rich text editor. I could set it dissabled in my user console I suppose. Seems a shame though. plaggy flagm migipligle frl? fligglY? smoogopl plippy poopy bpants round bottom-ish.
  7. Well the game runs without script dragon and probably will not matter if you are not using Nexus Mod Manager so I'm stumped and I hope some one else will chime in withe more info'. I looked for any info on an update to the game at theUESP wiki and see no reason why you're game should be acting this way. I have not started the game for a long time because of my eyes going bad. You could look for others with trouble at the threads for the mods that require script dragon. I am sorry I have not been of more help to you. good luck though... :^)
  8. You mention NMM each time so I wonder if you cam run by double clicking the tesv.exe aplication without getting an error? Also can you run without the dinput8.dll by renaming it to like dinput8.TST? If your tesv.exe is corrupt then steam should have detected that and replaced it unless you have disabled steam some how. You could do an integrity check How to check cache integrity on Steam? : V - Skyrim
  9. RE:error cant load I do not know of a update lately for tesv.exe so the latest version of script dragon I had was V 1.9.32.0 MD5 checksum? AFB8CA3AA555B115E86BF2168BA7C497 ScriptDragon.dll Be sure to have the latest from S Script Dragon script plugin engine for Skyrim
  10. Found this at DarkBurster 5 months ago it wasnt banned this mod has a new name now its called "ultimate follower overhaul" check it out its very much alive xD
  11. I searched Hi and low today for a fix for a problem with widescreen settings and the books and letters being cut off when reading> I could not find an answer so I searched book and Skyrim and ini and found an article in "Skyrim Tweak Guide 2.0" about book opening speed. In that thread was a word "fBookOpenTime." Armed with this word and Google I found .INI Compendium : V - Skyrim and the huge ini file that the console savini command used to generate. In that file I found the settings below that enabled my adjustmet of the distance/size and vertical position of the books and notes on the screen. Now I can use my favorite lowres but wide setting 16:9 1024 X 576 and still read the top of pages. Some useful numbers for resolutions that may work for anyone wanting lowres widescreen can be found here Display resolution - Wikipedia these settings work in the file Skyrim.ini found in the users Skyrim folder. They have to be added in most cases. [interface] fBookXRotation=-25.0000 # default 25.0000 fBookOpenTime=600.0000 # default 1000.0000 Not related to reading but speeds up book animation fNoteDistance=100.0000 # default 90.0000 Higher number = smaller fBookDistance=120.0000 # default 110.0000 Higher number = smaller fBookPosWidthPercentage=0.5000 # default 0.5000 horizontal higher = more right fBookPosHeightPercentage=0.5450 # default 0.4450 vertical higher = down Keywords can't read, clipping, cut off, books letters notes book letter note problem fix I hope any one who is looking for this sort of information will now find it useful and quicker than I did. NOTE: I may have caused the cut off problem myself by using an external editor to change the resolution of the game rather than letting the Launcher do so. But the launcher tends to make other changes that I then have to undo so... this is how I will deal with this for myself.
  12. The new thing called tessource evolved into tesnexus and it was good... metamorphosis from tesnexus into nexusmods and we had wings Now the beautiful creature is really learning to fly... LOL way to go community and thanks Dark0ne have a look back with web.archive.org/ The Elder Scrolls Source | Your Source For Morrowind and Oblivion! The Elder Scrolls Nexus - Oblivion mods? You betcha!
  13. I checked the Wrye Bash Documentation for "If it won't start", but it says nothing of this issue. Help would be massively appreciated. Wyre Bash - Unicode Decode error Oblivion Works / Bugs / #182 Unable to launch Wrye Bash (Unicode error) Same problem. Seems like i fixed it by starting WryeBash from the command line, and with the arguments "-L English". D:\Spill\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Mopy>"Wrye Bash.exe" -L English [RELz] Wrye Bash - Thread #24 post #125 A lot of stuff above... The only new info I see is that if the version of Python you have installed is building the moduals improperly then you can have this problem? a complete reinstall of the Mopy folder and making sure to use the latest version of Wrye Python 08
  14. Thats a good idea. You can change the transparency of fog and such too, so I wonder if that would work? Also there are some mods that make the rain heavier. I wonder if they know what it is that affects the particles (perhaps this is where you got your info from already). Maybe you can get some other weather modders to help with this. Its a great idea, and I absolutely love it. It had always bugged me to see rain go through roofs as if they weren't there. Good luck. Thanks but I am not very skilled with rendering. I saw information about Z-fighting that seemed to be related to a kind of effect that would work here. I posted the information i could find in hope it would help Xilante. But these days I have some other concerns so I will probably not be pursuing this.
