  1. They also said in the conference that mods will be able to added or removed from playthroughs at will, directly within the game. Now I may be wrong, but doesn't mean that they will only be mods without scripts? A lot of script mods can't always be added or removed without consequences. Textures, items, etc, can be removed pretty easily. But repeatedly adding and removing scripts is a great way to mess up your game and your save file, especially when you're on a console where you don't have as many utilities.
  2. This is true. The first thing I see when opening the nexus page for Skyrim SE has just been a picture of a butt for like a week. Gets annoying after a while.
  3. If you look back at the paid modding fiasco of 2015, the modders themselves got less than 1/3 of all profits from each mod purchase. I think most people can agree that's not really fair at all.
  4. Before I develop an opinion on this, I would want to know exactly what percentage of the revenue goes to the creators, and what percentage of the revenue goes to the companies. If users only purchase credits, and not the files directly, that would make it VERY easy for them to screw the creators over. Prove that you will give mod authors/creators their fair share in this and I might be on board.
  5. I wonder if this is what will convince sony to stop screwing over ps4 mod users
  6. I think what we're seeing is "premium mods" as in certain mods will require paying with real world money. They made it seem as though it requires consent from authors though, so i don't think pre-existing will be taken down and re-upped behind a pay wall. However they BARELY touched on it. So anything could happen.
  7. Saw that too. It seems more like they are going to be "beth approved mods" that are like premium level mods. No indication they're replacing other platforms... as of yet
  8. Did the author give a reason why it was deleted? If somebody makes a mod, and then someone else reuploads it, that's generally frowned upon.
  9. I would usually agree with you, but this case the answer is clearly whether or not ITMs were cleaned. I can get the game to crash (or not crash) literally 100 percent of the time in specific areas based on whether or not the ITMs are cleaned. I can also uninstall every mod, and have the game still crash in those areas. Once I repair the game through Steam, it does not crash in those places anymore. I'm not cleaning mods, only the official .esm files that come with the game. I don't know if I have an older version of SSEEdit or something, but I swear, I've tested this multiple times and it is clearly causing crashes.
  10. I've been researching and reading forums here for SSE for a few hours now, specifically regarding random crashes in the over-world. I've noticed a pattern that cleaning the game with SSEEdit seems to cause frequent crashes (for whatever reason) in multiple areas around the game world. Known affected areas include Ivarstead and Falkreath. For something that was considered a basic step for modding Oldrim, it seems to not be fully supported for SSE. I've repaired the game through steam, and this seems to fix the crashes caused by this. Anyone else found anything similar?
  11. Using those images, or ripping them directly from the other game to be used in a mod for the Witcher 3 is actually not allowed (most likely).
  12. One of the hot files is a mod that will scale most unique armors in the base game and DLCs to your level
  13. Have you tried verifying the game cache through Steam or GOG? It looks like a file was either overwritten incorrectly or you're missing something
  14. It also specifically mentions the throwing knife mod as an error. Apparently that mod is not updated or it conflicts with something else. Remove it and see what happens.
  15. In that respect, I actually know what you mean. It almost looks as if there is a new post-processing effect, but I don't know enough about post-processing or photography or anything to know what it could possibly be called.
