Hey gang I am need of some help with a couple of missing followers. First off I need to say that I am using Better Vampires and Amazing follower mods and that I have been using these two mods together to make NPCs that are not normally follower into followers. For the most part everything had been working just the way I wanted it too until I started the Dragonborn DLC. After reading the first book and returning from the Obivion zone both of my followers were no where to be found. Using AFT I could summon them but they did not have any of their gear. Reloaded and read the book again and once inside the book zone I summoned them in with me and all was good until reading chapter 3 book which caused a CTD. I figured having all 3 of us in there caused it so I reloaded save again and after traveling back to one of my houses I dismissed both but told them to hang out there using the AFT command. After finishing the DLC I went back to get them and they are gone, both from my house and from where I found them the first time. Looking over BV faq and AFT instructions I didn't see anything about this issue. My fear is that both are now gone permanently since in order to get them to follow me I had to turn them to vampires which in affect kills them. Does anyone know if/how I can recover these followers either using console command or my hope a AFT command? If it matters they were Hroki and Julienne Lylvieve.

Have you completed the civil war in the empires favor after receiving the quest? If so I think you are sol since the stormclock guards are gone. I have made this mistake afew times. If that isn't the case I am not sure what the issue is exactly but it sounds like the game doesn't think you are to that point in the quest so maybe go back and take to the NPC in the Hall of the Dead (if that is the one that sends to the house I don't remember).

Have you ranked up enchanting as well? That can make a huge difference when added to the advanced smithing perks. While I have never been able to 2 shot this one I have had both an easy time and a hard time with this fight. Fire resist is a must especially if you are a vampire. As far as I know SkyUI doesn't change the difficulty of the game. I normally play on the hard setting and once smithing and enchanting are ranked up I find most of the time that setting is to easy but it only takes one high level caster (or dragon) to humble me to a reload.

I am not quite like that. I don't really get bored but I can not help myself from heading to the nexus to see what is new and end up getting several mods that may or may not break my game which then the OCD kicks in and I will spend the rest of the day swearing and throwing things until I get the game to work again. I repeat this pattern about once a week it seems. My biggest problem now is knowing just enough to be more daring yet still be noobish enough to manage to mess things up bad enough that I am willing to pay someone to come over and get it to run right. There are just so many cool mods out there I have to try them it is avoidable for me.

About this time last year (maybe longer) I saw a mod that allowed the player to become owner of a keep that was then upgradeable much like how Crossroad Keep was in NWN2. I have looked several times now and I can not find that one or another like it. Yes there are plenty of castle/keep mods out there but the upgradeable and recruitment parts are what appeal to me the most. Does this ring a bell with anyone? As someone who has very little knowledge in mod creation would this be a hard one to do? Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I put this post here since this isn't meant to be a mod request but more help locating one that has already been created.

What happens to Vampires after they die?
pdxmm replied to TailAbNormal's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
True enough. I'll have to remember that if it ever comes up again. I'm still more partial to the idea that a Vampire's soul is constantly being drained away, and that their 'feeding' is as much replenishing that power as the need for the actual blood. It would explain why they don't have to be partially soul-trapped to enter the Soul Cairn, since we can assume that as Undead they are already bound to it. Which makes one wonder what Molag Bal's link to the Soul Cairn, and the Ideal Masters, is. There is something to this that I noticed recently however I am not sure if it has always been there or if it is a function of a mod I am using. While in VL form and you feed on a mage NPC you will draw some of their spell casting expertise, if they are an illusion mage you will get a illusion skill up about equal to reading a book. I got all kinds of skill ups after killing a tower full of necro's though not much use for a sword and board vampire. As for how the cattle are I always thought that was a product of being under the seduction spell or another like it that keeps them docile. NPCs seem to respond the same way when I cast it on them before feeding but my spell only lasts 10 seconds. I can't being to imagine the damage done to the brain if left constantly under that type of spell. -
I have loved all the videos I have seen with Sofia and will be getting this mod. I have been using the better vampire mod and loving that too and as my own RP reasons I am only traveling with other vampires so my question is can she be turned? I was going to wait until she was more finished but I do need more comedy in my group of merry vampires.

The way I viewed this part was that you were put into that position purposely with no other way out but to push the button. Even if you consider yourself a total saint the actual choice was taken from you and that was done to prove a point. The same point Ulysses explains to you in a very cryptic way. Maybe I am not remembering things wrong but the main reason why our character even starts the quest is the learn about our own history that we no longer remember. There is no way to know just how much Ulysses says is true and how much is being exaggerated or flat out lie. Correct me if I am wrong but I got the feeling before the bullet to the head we were a straight foward type that got the job done anyway needed. We didn't ask questions about our deliveries and one of those did a lot of harm and damage. Did we really care about that? No way to know for sure (unless I missed something which is a very real possiblity) but I am thinking we didn't since we continued with our courier ways. For me the whole quest was to show the type of person we use to be from a crazy guys point of view even if that even is not the correct history.

So after hours of failure in my attempts to make a character that looks like Yuanji I thought I would come here and see if anyone would be willing to help me out. My knowledge of mods is limited so not sure how hard this would be. At least I want the face but if I can get the whole package that would be great. I added a picture of her for those who don't know who I am talking about. Thanks in advance to those who would do this for me and the rest of the modding community.
