Calm down :o In fact I managed to downgrade and later to install LW. Everything works. But I had problems for like 4 hours trying to make it work in the first place, and this is the reason why I asked a simple question. And finally, I wanted to erase my question on the forum but didn't succeded.

I've put the Block stuff in the Host file but still Steam tells me that Xcom is already running : / Does anyone have the same problem ? *Problem Solved, excuse the flood*

I couldn't agree more ! Although I'm new to the forum and wasn't aware of X-Com modding possibilities prior to reading the Pc gamer article, I'm very happy that some smart people found out how to overcome the auto patch issue. Bravo to Bertilsson and the other persons having spent time on this idea ! :cool:
