  1. Hey got some mod ideas for the bloodskal blade. Not sure how much of this is actually possible, (or even feasible) but figure I might as well ask just in case. As for the ideas well: First idea is to change the beam from something that activates on a power attack to a lesser power that drains a portion of the pc`s magika (maybe also stamina still have to swing the sword after all). Next was to tie the damage to either two handed or destruction (or both) Could have it work like a dragon shout with 3 tiers of charge maybe with appropriate visual effects and different properties. Final idea is for a quest that takes you to different shrines that then let you change the element of the beam when out of combat.

I`ve got a few ideas on how to overhaul the smithing system (yes another smithing overhaul) but I lack the necessary skills to do so, especially if I want to keep it as compatible as possible with other mods. So I thought i`d put my idea here in the hopes that some incredibly kind modder would be willing to do so. Perks split between armour and weapon No material perks. Instead perks go novice- apprentice-adept-expert-master weapon/armour smith. Roughly two materials associated with each perk (leather, iron, steel,), (elven dwarven),(orcish, advanced), (glass, ebony), (deadric, Dragon). Each perk allows you to improve the weapon/armor by 50% Can only learn how to smith items of specific materials from books or by being taught by another smith and only able to forge items if you have the appropriate perk. Once taught how to work with a material you can improve all items of that material by 50% that stacks with perks.
