  2. I occasionally disable ABP when visiting Nexus Mods, to see if the ad problems have been resolved, and they aren't. There are some ads I reported over 4 weeks ago, and clicking report Ad says I've reported it already, and yet these ads keep showing up. What is the point of reporting malicious ads or autoplaying sound ads, when nothing is being done to remove those ads once they have been reported. I can understand, it taking a week or two to address a bad ad, but over 4 weeks is excessive. If you want people to permanently disable ABP while browsing Nexus Mods, you guys need to eliminate reported ads as soon as possible; 4 weeks is too long a wait, and honestly, most people will feel that you aren't doing anything if an Ad they reported is still here after a week of reporting it.
  3. Sometimes when reporting ads, it doesn't solve the problem. For example, I just reported an auto-playing video that was really slowing down the browser and then it was replaced by autoplaying audio. Then the ad disappeared after reporting it but the audio kept playing and had to refresh the browser to get rid of it.

Its only an act of exchanging biological fluids :P Yes, it hosts pornographic material, but you need an account to see it normally, and you need to set your account to view it. Otherwise you don't see any of it, which is his/her point. If you lack the account to view that stuff you shouldn't see those kinds of ads.
  5. In response to post #35952445. #35957755, #35970875, #35986150 are all replies on the same post. It is true that an antivirus cannot stop all viruses and malware. But, it can sometimes prevent viruses from functioning properly once they get on your machine. For example, I got hit by a virus called "reannewscomm" that got onto my computer from a malicious ad from Youtube of all places. Even though it was on my machine, it couldn't activate itself as my antivirus blocked it from functioning. So I'd get a "virus detected" every 10 seconds, but I could still use the computer to go to my antivirus' forum and get assistance. They walked me through it and managed to get rid of it. However, if I didn't have an antivirus, then the virus would have activated immediately and be many times harder to remove. So, yeah, use an antivirus. I suggest Avast; its proven the most reliable antivirus and I've tried a lot of different antivirus scanners.
  6. In response to post #35707712. I got hit by one of those advertising malware attacks recently myself, and it took me 4 days to fully remove the infection. Some of those malware from ads are really hard to get rid of and thus unless Nexus does a better job at managing bad ads, they aren't going to get people off adblockers.
  7. For reporting ads, make sure that the button is easily accessible. I've had some ads where they produce text slightly above or below the ad and thus instead of reporting the ad I accidently get redirected by the ad to somewhere else.
  8. I generally don't mind the ads. However, I don't like it when I have 5 tabs open and the ads alone are consuming more RAM than the some games do. By using this site, I've seen (in my Task Manager) my browser consuming upwards to 2.5 GB of RAM and beyond from the ads. I don't use adblocker though I do use a popup blocker, which kills 50% of the nasty ads. But, when I can instantly load any other site on the internet with my 50 mbps connection, and it feels like Dial Up on this site from the ads, I do sometimes feel like I should be using adblocker.
  9. Interesting. I have a mod called Scrap Everything active that does just that, scraps pretty much everything including the roads, grass, bushes, and other things that normally couldn't be scrapped. I wonder if it suffers from the same problems as Scrap Scrap mod. I also agree that the no run zones do seem to be around settlements. I encountered them in Sanctuary, Spectacle Island (if you haven't been here I aint spoiling it), Red Rocket Gas Station (where you meet dogmeat), and in some places in the Castle.
  10. Same problem. Some things I've noticed though: 1) If you enter deep enough water, that if you were in power armor would cause the slow movement animation, exiting the water allows sprinting again. 2) Some areas in the world appear to be no sprinting zones for some reason. Like in some areas of Sanctuary, I couldn't sprint, but the moment I entered a house, I could sprint again. And the moment I left that house, I couldn't sprint again. It might be that you entered one of these no sprinting zones, though why there are these zones I'm not sure. 3) I've only noticed the issue when I had mods active. When I run a pure vanilla game, like I did with my first playthough, I NEVER encountered this issue. But after getting several mods to be active now, I'm running into this sprinting bug. However, none of my mods directly modifies the sprinting ability. The one that "may" be the culprit is Zephyr's Power Armor mod, as I generally am wandering around in Power Armor with Overdrive Servos, that may be bugging out as they are in a slot that they normally aren't supposed to be in, but even I think that is silly. 4) If I can't sprint in Power Armor, exiting the Power Armor prevents me from sprinting without Power Armor on. 5) I'm never overburdened, I'm carrying less than 50% of my maximum at all times while testing this. All my limbs are at 100%. My AP is at 100%. I have no idea, gameplay mechanic wise, why I cannot sprint during these weird instances. 6) I killed an enemy and for some reason that allowed me to sprint again. Very odd. 7) Using my Jetpack on the power armor to deplete my AP doesn't seem to fix the sprinting issue. Hope some of this is helpful. EDIT: Sometimes fast travelling fixes the issue. Other times I have to fast travel, and then "jog" (ie auto-run but not sprint) away from the area to get sprinting back.
  11. I keep seeing this mentioned in modders credits for files recently, but I tried searching for FO4Edit, and there isn't anything on the Nexus or google search. What are people talking about when they refer to FO4Edit?

Anyway, back on topic, if TesVEdit/FO3Edit throws errors when trying to load the Fallout4.esm, does that mean you cannot make changes (and thus no esp files) or does it mean it causes errors to be created in the esp files created, that may corrupt a save game? To be blunt Purr4me, you haven't exactly been all that helpful. All you've basically done is speak in riddles and beat around the bush. If you actually want to teach me, you need to provide useful information that can be acted upon. Thus far you've provided the bare minimum and are getting angry because I want to know more...? I would love it if you would teach me, but what you've given thus far is insufficient to get me anywhere.
  13. As you said, no opinions, just facts. Fact is Skyrim was built on Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 was built on Skyrim. If you don't wish to believe that then that is YOUR opinion, but the fact is it is. So if TesVEdit throws an error, does that mean that it can't make changes to Fallout 4, or that it introduces errors into any Fallout 4 .esp?
  14. Four things: 1) Thank you for explaining things better. 2) You originally said TESVEdit, not FO3Edit. It would have been simpler if you had said you needed FO3Edit, rather than TESVEdit 3) Yes, I'm well aware that not everything that comes out of Pete Hines mouth should be trusted. Afterall, he did promise a new engine, 64bit, dynamic economy and dynamic civil war for Skyrim, and none of those things were in Skyrim. 4) Actually, Skyrim was built upon Fallout 3's foundation. If you take a look at it, it even has all the code for VATS, even though VATS isn't used directly in Skyrim... only for Killcams. So, if you want to ignore the fact that Fallout 4 is built on the same foundation as Skyrim, that's your thing, but the fact is, it is built upon skyrim's foundation.
  15. Actually no, Fallout 4 was based off of Skyrim. The original story, from Pete Hines was that they were going to port Skyrim to Xbox One and PS4, and instead decided to use that to create Fallout 4. So actually, Fallout 4 is more like Skyrim, than it is like Fallout 3. However, your answer doesn't help at all. Yes I'm well aware that it is possible and it works. However, the HOW hasn't been answered. How do you setup TESVEdit, to edit Fallout 4 files? A procedure or steps to make TESVEdit to work on Fallout 4 would be appreciated. If it is like Fallout 3, then how would I set it up to mod Fallout 3 then? Also what is this ID# you referred to, and how would one find it?
