yeah, can confirm the insane memory usage when downloading OWR, good with i have 16gb of RAM.
-
It very much does support fomod,
And you can deal with conflicts with the dependancies column, and click the red lighting bolt
After using that, you hit the deploy button, and it will put the mods in the right place based on the rules you set with that UI.
-
For me i imported from NMM, And the versioning proper. this one however was not imported from NMM.

I find myself rather amused by the fact that I told Vortex to check FO4 mods for updates and it's claiming a mod I know damn well is the most current version is out of date...
...It's MY MOD. Heh...
Yeah, it is doing similar things for me.

LOOT already puts bashed and merged patches last. :armscrossed:
For whatever reason the built in LOOT wasn't doing that, so i had to do it myself.
-
Set the global priority of the bashed patch to 127 in LOOT, and it will always be put last, that's what i do,
-
But there is only one version of it installed.
-
i really have no idea what this means.
Some mods I have installed have that, others don't, and I really don't know why.
-
I have an SSD C drive, and have plenty of space free on it with a bunch of things installed. So i don't really see much of an issue.

200mb is nothing lol

No custom launch options?
You can add skse as a tool on the SSE section, and then make it primary, and pressing the play button in the top left will launch skse.
-
I mean, Vortex literally has an optional Advanced tab for more experienced users, so why not just put manual mod ordering behind that? Mod Organizer made managing hundreds of mesh and texture mods a breeze, instead of having to uninstall and reinstall everything in order, you could just drag the items into any order you pleased.
You don't have to install or uninstall things to get them in the right order, as you can resolve conflicts in Vortex, turn on the dependancy column in the mod display, and click the red lightning bolt beside the mod and you will get this
-
i think if you have them downloaded you may just be able to move them to the downloads folder of vortex, but i don't know for sure. When i imported my mods, i had them installed.
-
you just press the import from NMM button, and wait a while, the amount of time depends on the number of mods you have.
-
Except there aren't multiple versions of the mod, it is just different parts of the mod.
-
I am confused about these showing up, what does it signify?
-
You can change the download folder and mod folder location on a per game basis, so it is not really an issue space wise.
-
- For the Tool window I'd love to be able to change the order of tools to my liking. For now the skyrim launcher to be first is nice but if you have skse I'd like to move that to the front.
you can right click on skse and click make primary to make the play button in the top left run that instead of the skyrim launcher i think, haven't tested yet.
-
you need to import your NMM/MO mods into vortex.
-
How do you run/ install loot on Vortex ??
It is built in, go to the plugins tab, and hit sort now.
-
If there is a conflict between two mods with loose files, can I specify which mod should 'win' on a file-by-file basis when I install them, like in NMM? Or is it determined purely by install order? I'm thinking of mesh and texture replacer mods that don't have plugins so 'load order' isn't relevant.
There is a thing for resolving conflicts, click the red lighting bolt.

In response to post #43702645.only problem with that is it won't have any of the metadata such as mod version, which is kind a pain.bubbafett5611 wrote: The NMM Login Server is down, please follow this guide as a workaround: http://pastebin.com/pPTmC9tF
Figured it might be a good idea to post this here too
