I'm sure the ritual helped her get preggers as well. :) It seems like it has more then one function. I'm guessing it also removes the Darkspawn taint from the child? Seeing as Darkspawn taint + Old God = Blight. If not I'd assume she'd be carrying a baby archdemon. :P

I don't think that's possible because Morrigan uses a blood ritual to lure the essence of the archdemon into the unborn child.

The way Bioware has completely changed things to make DA2 work has ruined much of the lore the DA universe. So, I wouldn't be surprised if they changed it down the road to where if 2 GW were to procreate, their offspring would be a Super GW able to mount Archdemons and fly into the fires of hell! :rolleyes:

End to PC gaming? Uh .... no. Steam is one of the most successful gaming revenues out there. WoW is a behemoth and the Sims franchise is what has made EA what it is today. BTW .... unless these modders will be making their creations on a console, they'll need a PC to A: Create said mods and B: Test them out on the PC version of the game. Not to mention if modding became the "next big thing" on consoles there would be a lot more console Ports to PC then ever before. P.S. The only downside is that MS will most likely charge people for user created content.

You don't need to put the compiler in your override folder. What you need to do is just extract each mod to your override folder with their accompanying chargenmorphcfg file. Make sure the compiler has the correct directory path to your override folder. After that it should see all the files. So, in short, make sure all chargenmorphcfg files are somewhere in your "override" folder (doesn't matter where, but make sure you don't copy one over another), and that the compiler has the correct path to your override folder.

You are missing the "separate" face and hair mods to make this work. There's actually a readme.txt file in the Ferelden Models mod that will list all the other mods you need installed in order for the face to show up in game properly. Also, you don't need the chargengorphmcfg entries unless you want the presets/hair/skin/eye etc. mods to show up in the CG. =P

The DA2 elves look too similar to the Na'vi from Avatar in my opinion. The eyes just look weird to me.

I've read that a lot of people were experiencing major game breaking bugs. Hopefully they can patch it up quick.

I did not put my hard earned money into this site to just be brushed off to the way side. I'm asking you guys, please at least, consider making "DarkeWolf" a sub mod of the DA forum. She's dead, not everyone survives the joining, yes it's tragic but you need to get over it. It's getting annoying. Bioware never said she would be a companion. All they said is that she was a "character". People read into because she had her own trailer. As far as the endings go. Wasn't interested too much. The game went by too quickly for me to have been that emotionally involved with any of the characters or story elements.

There's great points, both good and bad. It's nice to see some new faces posting too! Thanks for your opinions guys ;)

You didn't notice that the whole"camp" dialog type thing was missing? Dialog is now triggered while adventuring or by clicking on certain objects. It's much better then sitting at camp going through all those dialog options.

I really like the new system. I hope they flesh it out even further. It makes a lot more sense to me the way they did conversations in Awakening. BUT, like I've said in other posts .. wtf is the point if nothing gets carried over to the other games? As it stands now the only reason to get approval is for the stat bonuses. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy getting to know the characters and learning about them. Nothing from DA:O to Awakening ties together like it should. That's why Mass Effect is so awesome. I care about my companions. I care about my actions and how it will reflect upon me with them. If they die, I wont see them in the next installment. Dragon Age makes the choice for you. There's no real consequence for making a positive or negative choice. Let's face it, the biggest draw of DA is the dialogue. I mean if you look at it in regards to the other aspects of the game, there's not much variety. Monsters, loot, story etc. It's all pretty bland. The companions and the ability to delve deep into a relationship with them is the reason most people love DA. So, yes the new Dialogue system a step in the right direction. They just need to improve on the other intertwining aspects of that system.

Yea everyone is different. I thought it was an awesome expansion. There is always room for improvement, but overall it was a satisfying game.
