Which is better, adding mods in the game or mods through Vortex? Is it best not to mix them up?

Is there another way to change cloths, I would like to see what my characters body looks like without clothes. Determine body changes and tattoos.

OK I am a rookie to all this. Bare with me. Ok, so I added a few mods, 50 or so. Just not sure they are all working. Should the body mods like CBBE just work, I am not them in the plugins file. Different mods required different bodies, should I only have one? What about conflicts, how do you make sure one body type is being used? :ermm: Please respond, about ready to give up. I am using the game on a Windows 10.

I have about 56 mods One Windows 64 Couple things, when I click CLOTHES to make changes the game stops responding. Also my character is not naked so I can see what overlays looks like. How can I tell of my bodies (fusion, etc) are loaded? I have not even gotten to the game I have having problems. Please help
