Looks pretty good. Im hoping its open world. Ive always liked the post apocolyptic games..this one looks right up my alley!

there are console commands that can display your FPS but they seen to be disabled in NV. Fraps is another option, the basic version of fraps is free and do the basics..display your FPS, take screenshots and 30 sec clips of video. I just picked it up but now im thinkin of getting the full version just for the hell of it. Daynox

I was actually thinking about buying that. I really like the co-op games and this one looks pretty fun. And for 10 bucks...thats a decent price.... I got Alien Swarm cause it was free which is a good co-op game to. ya..imma gonna get this one to :thumbsup: Daynox

ya thats pretty well the only thing you really need to worry about. Years ago i picked up an issue of PC magazine, and on the disc that came with it was a full video tutorial on building a pc from scratch, that is what i used to build my first pc...and have been building them ever since. Ive even gotten into building my own cases (free sheet metal from work and cut on plasma and laser) a little reaserch always helps as well :thumbsup: but like Fatal says, it really is simpler that what some people make it out as. And that is kinda where a BareBones system comes into play. You get everything you need to build the system, no research on parts neccessary...all you have to do is put it together, install an OS and your good to go. There are many, many different kinds of barebone kits out there, from low to super high end. It all depends on what you want to use it for i guess. :biggrin: Daynox

On average my FPS sit around 40, if im in a casino packed with people from mods it drops to around 25-30. im running most of the high end texture packs and graphic increasing mods as well. I built a high end system so i can push it to the max...its all overclocked to hell as well. as for Alienware? dont waste your money!! all your paying for is the name, you can built a real decent gaming pc for a fraction of the cost of an alienware system. A couple years ago a buddy of mine was all proud that he bought one...until i built one from scatch, with the same components for just over Half of what he payed! heck...my $300 compaq laptop plays FO at an average of 25 fps.... A decent gaming pc can cost even less if you buy everything and build it yourself as well...its really not that hard, and fun to do as well. You can even buy a Barebones and go from there... Daynox

I recently installed Morrowind Overhaul to my game... and it just totally blew my mind!! The graphics have been totally redone, with each area/zone having its own atmosphere. I followed the mgso install guide step by step with no problems what so ever! It does take some time to get up and running though. Well worth the time! But when i started my game i kid you not when i say my jaw hit the floor!! It is absolutely beautifull!! :thumbsup: Daynox

Do you have the latest version of NVSE? that could be the problem

For the mountains in the back ground you could look into a DOF (depth of field) mod which adds a haze like effect to the far mountains, and hides the...jagglies that you see flickering.. that might account for a few % when targeting in vats but if he means what i think he means then i get it every now and then to... you go into vats and while checking hit %'s you notice the arm/leg at say 85% and the torso at 50%....the distance from the torso to the arm shouldnt be that great... from time to time i get real drastic %'s between body parts in vats that make no sense what so ever :confused: Daynox

The trailer is killer! Saw it a couple hours ago on another site... The game itself is apparently going to be a first person survival/rpg style game. I heard about this game a little while ago but have not seen anything else about it. I will definately be checking this game out when it comes out. I have always wanted to play a Zombie/Rpg style game...not like the RE games but a true rpg kinda zombie game.....and who knows, maybe it will have a multiplayer to it! That would be killer. A small group of players travelling around trying to survive!.. :thumbsup:

Right now my Vegas folder (steam location) is sitting at 12.8 gig with 10972 files in 1016 folders. Which is tiny compared to other game folders My seperate mod folder for vegas contains a further 22.5 gig in mods that i have not installed yet. These sizes are nothing compared to my Oblivion folder which is sitting at a very bloated 66.7 gig with 387334 files in 10784 folders, with not a single conflict, missing texture, crashes or anykind of problem. That game is maxed out! But drive space is not a problem for me with 4TB in my main rig and another 6TB in external and seperate drives that i connect using Rosewill sata connections over my "command center" :thumbsup: Ive slowed down playing NV though....with 233 hours played ive seen everything and done everything 3 times over.... 8) Daynox

I tried listening to the genre themed stations but they play the same thing over and over again... So I always have one of my systems playing internet radio... but its always on one of my favorite stations in this area 97.7 HTZ FM Rock station out of St Catherines Y108 (actually 107.9 on the dial) Rock station out of Hamilton Q107 Classic rock station out of Toronto 89.5 Late at night/real early morning they play some kick ass deep bass/jungle/trance stuff.. News Talk 1010 Talk radio out of Toronto, this station has been my favorite for some time now as they keep up with the most inportant news and information that is happening. Daynox

what is multimon? i use Display Fusion, it allows all kinds of things.. eg different backgrounds with duel monitors One photo spread onto both screens.. repositioning and scaling of the images can randomly change the back ground image from any folder... all kinds of neat stuff ^_^

here's a screenie of my main rig's screens :whistling: running duel monitors...or should i say lcd tv and monitor, main is a 37" LG lcd and the secondary (right) is a 25.5" lcd also running multiple laptops with secondary screens. I really dont think a Petition is gonna help here! The ads are one way to help keep the site running, to give us access to the 1000's of mods we download and use for FREE! over multiple games.. Like others have said, If these ads bother people SOOOO much, it only cost a few bucks to become a Premium Member....jeez, i found the money for mine in my couch!
