  1. Well it has been years since i have been active as I have been in school for 3D animation. finally after 3 years I have free time and can come back to the place that started it all for me. yes, the Nexus. I have worked with small teams on Oblivion mods and have release 2 mods before but really want to come back and give back with some constant work. I have gotten basic armors and rigging down there is a few things I cannot seem to find posts or tutorials about. helmets and armor add ons such as pauldrons shin gaurdsand so on. any posts you know of or tutorials covering this please share i have been looking all week but have been coming up with nothing. nifskope F04edit and creation kit side of this stuff is covered pretty well I just need help setting it up for export in max. I will try to consolidate my questions and WIP here on this post to not over populate the forums with questions. Please any help would be kindly appreciated.

  3. don't be afraid to use the built inmudbox tools do some high polly sculpts and use the modelling tool set to retopoligize. always great to learn building low and building up. the high to low cage is the work flow i prefer to use.
  4. Just want to take a minute and thank the Dark0ne for such a level headed cool approach to the issue. I will be excited and happy to release my mods for all platforms, That being said this is the greatest community I have ever been apart of. We will get through this as well as we have through many issues. Crim.
  5. We should commend Valve and Bethesda for trying something new. it may have not gone as well as they had hoped. I for one will still mod on. I will always release exclusively on the nexus. One reason only. this community taught me. this community helped me to love it. Thank you Bethesda for open thinking and modding, as well as great games. thank you Steam for being a great content provider. Through it all. The Dark0ne as he always has inspires us.

This community has been such an amazing light in my life. thank you for everything. you have been here for us. we are here for you. anything you need, let us know. I am having Some slight issues will Assigning the Meatcaps to the limbs there wasn't all the nifskope explanation just the instruction to sign the limb section to ( Bp_ Torsosection left arm) for example but could not figure part out in nifkope that out please help any one? I am very good at using blender but still on the nifkope learning curve any advice or help thank
  8. not to worries it is already much more then 1 city And there never was a team i tried and tried to get one going but alas it"s just me the solo max ola which is cool i like having full control of it's direction and so on. I just know there are modders with much better skills then I at some things :) I will be posting some nice teasers soon ;)
  9. as it stands making an entire continent full of rich tapestry and quest driven story could take a life time for 1 man so we are looking at a town so mainland quests , some schismatics huge new load outs of all new weapons including max gear and some totally unrelated. things need to be fresh and original. but still staying true to the max lore so made to compliment fallout universe and vise versa. there will be some new world spaces along with Barter town and other memorable scenes added but please keep in mind large parts of the mod i am keeping strictly under wraps. there are going to be huge surprises. weather your a max fan or a fallout fan you are not going to want to miss this. here is the ace in the whole I am pushing to set a release date. 11\10\2010 - is the release date

Okay Folks this has been long in the waiting and I know there are some who could careless at this point seeing how dead the thread has been. with that said This mod is finally coming to light i have been pain staggeringly been working completely solo on this mod. status update is as fallows. this will be an adaption of the movie a prequel to beyond the thunder-dome. all new meshes, textures there are no pre-modded items other than Xio's max dog textures. what is going to set this mod apart from the rest is authenticity, quality and above all the rest everything is new. the mod will be a bit more modest then the original plan but even still I am beginning to impress my self and this is a good sign for the average nexus goer. Some things are more max lore friendly and others more fallout 3 friendly. it will be an amalgamation of the 2. The real Mad Max armor, gun, knife this is not an imitation. like many armors or guns released be for. as i am coming close to post production Now is the time To get your ideas in to the mod . thoughts And i hope you will come to appreciate how far my skills have come ;) there is no team there is only me whom has put months of work into this so please be patient this not another dead max mod

Hey Nadin it's been a long time haha. as for the max mod it is made to be authentic to the movie not lore friendly sorry And Rtol Please do not release anything Publicly if it's a team you are glad to join then it will be a team decision when and what to release so lets keep Most stuff between us Until we can show a movie or a really saucy teaser
  13. Hey man Yes The Mad Max Mod Is still burning strong all though you are a late comer I do regret to inform you that there was never a team formed. I have taken this project on all my self. So far i have completed Truly authentic mad max armor, knife, his sawed off shotgun and what max mod would be complete without the Last Of the V-8 Interceptors. these things are all complete or on the brink of completion. If you would like to formally Apply Send my PM outlining work. I may have someone stand in here and there to help out with scripting. In the end thanks very much for any interest you have ideas anything lay em on me :)
  14. So i have started getting ready to release some of my MAD MAX mods Now i have noticed in game the textures a super Glossy. I am using blender and have turned all gloss completely off. the weapon looks awesome in the dark but once you go out side the gloss is so high you can hardly see the textures Please help been looking around everywhere and there is not much on this topic please help very much thank you
