so i have been thinking of an idea for a new race mod, mainly inspired by an oldrim race mod called the Ningheim, this mod takes being a vampire in mind and i really like the concept of being able to have your characters eyes change to reflect what they are. basically it goes like this, your character is the dragonborn, but you, in this case, are not of the normal races of skyrim. you are of draconic decent, the ancient blood of the dragons runs in your veins, it only needs a catalyst to awaken it, like absorbing a dragons soul/life essence. the mod name would be something like Dragonblood, or Blood of the Dragon, something to that effect. male and female Draconians look like standard people of Skyrim, not knowing the power within them until it is unlocked, drawing from the Ningheim Race they have elvish appearance, stunning to look at and so on. however, once they unlock the power of the dragonborrn, and the dragon blood within them, their eyes take on a more draconic appearance, and they start gaining more power as they level up. harder skin, claws, enhanced vision, magical power and so on. then further drawing upon there curse or blessing of vampirism and lycanthropy they gain even more power, being able to supress or even embrace both bloodlines and their dragon heritage. taking into account both mods like Moonlight tales and better vampires. stat wise they would more or less like a combination of a nord/elf, just none of the hate for either, and given skyrims nature, seen as an outcast on both sides.. expanding upon the dragon heritage of things, they can choose a dragon bloodline to be descended from, eg: gold, silver, red, black, green, and so on, which will further enhance passive abilities, drawing on DnD dragons, at first they start only as passives, for example, being of the Silver Dragon bloodline you get bonuses in heavy armour, or medium armour, cold resistance, and such (always open to expanding upon the concept). once the Draconian has absorbed a dragons life energy it unlocks a talent tree or something like that, similar to how vampires and werewolves now have them, and at that point can start gaining more active skills depending on your draconic blood, and then of course gaining more power from being a vampire, werewolf, lich, etc. ---- long story short, i've no clue where to start, i have the idea, but not sure how to even get started... anyway, that is my idea, i wouldn't mind learning about how i could make this myself, or if anyone would be willing to take on something like this..

exactly, I'm all for taking care of ones self first, just the suddenness of it was worrying, I'm happy i could help relieve peoples mind on it, and i also hope he returns when he is feeling better, i totally get the burnout when it comes to some games.

found this on reddit, sad to see him go, but if it isn't fun to do anymore then that is that... I am devasted, ithink i did some sort of burnout and i deleted both. That was too much work, plus bad conditions to work with. I ll take the time necessary to work on this on my free time, otherwise i ll do more burnout. I am very sad for the discord members. I regret it very badly.

not entirely sure, but something bad has gone down, Redmas has completely disappeared.... discord is gone, mod has been deleted.... i hate when amazing mods like this disappear, it added so much to NMS, and it is entirely possible Redmas just got sick of all the hate, if any (which is highly likely), he was getting, i honestly hope that is all it is, and not something worse...

main idea is like dragon born in DnD or the dragon disciple from most neverwinter games, i mean, there isn't much in the way of dragon effective magic, having something like this would be handy for mage type chars, and others, would be cool to see some more ways to use the whole "dragon blood" your character has, i did consider making the mod myself, but i can't seem to get the creation kit to even run on my system, and honestly i don't have any idea where to start, hoping someone might be interested in picking it up. -
so i had an idea for a new mod, along the same lines as better vampires in that as the dragonborn, or even one of the dragon blood, your character is able to unlock powers/perks contained within your dragon blood, i'm not entirely sure how i'd even start with a mod like this, if someone would be interested in picking up a mod idea, it would be awesome to see something like this in skyrim. skill/perk examples: Dragon Skin: 5 ranks, increase armor by % per rank. Dragon talons: 5 ranks, unarmed damage by % per rank and so on, also maybe include different draconic blood types, red, green, gold, silver dragon blood.

yeah, fully random, but i seem to have a stable game now, just limiting my mods, i tried transfer settlements, but found it really screwed my game up trying to import settlements, tried the settings it had for CTD and it actually made things worse, was causing everything to crash, which was super strange lol

not really, i ended up deleting all my saves in my saves folder and started over, made a bashed patch and it appears to be fairly stable, before i was running around in the levelers bunker mod, now to fix the last scrapping issue i have, and it would be perfect lol, seems this one is like a flicker of scrapped buildings, like standard stuff that is normally scrapable even without scrap anything, but it only really happens in sanctuary atm, so i'll live.

just when i think i've got my game working right, now it crashes after around 5mins or so of getting into the game... starting to get cheesed off trying to get a stable game going here.... maybe a bashed/merged patch could help me, i got no idea when it comes to reading the logs, the amount of times i have restarted from scratch only for a new problem to happen....

beats me, never hurts to put it at the bottom, and use the ultimate edition, just to be safe, i've managed to get mine all stable so far, needs a little fine tuning.

scrap everything does, which is why it is a good idea to have it at the very bottom of your load order

that one i have had as well, i find it comes from mod the adds in stuff and you have something that does something to the previs/precombines or whatever, i can typically fix the problem if i move the mod that adds to that area below the offending mod, beantown is a huge issue in that respect, i have a few settlements overhauled by the GECK project and still had buildings and stuff inside my the buildings lol, this is my load order toward the end due to beantown, if you use that: *BostonFPSFixAIO.esp*FQ_NoMoreLODFlicker_AIO.esp*BTInt_Optimization.esp*America Rising - A Tale of the Enclave.esp*CraftingFramework.esp*vonBennettCommonwealthSettlements_GECK.esp*BetterOpenSeason.esp*LevelersBunker.esp*BrighterSettlementLights_ExtraBrightv1.1.esp*TransferSettlements.esp*Brighter Wasteland Workshop Lights.esp*Vault-tec brighter lights.esp*SimSettlements_CityPlanPack_ContestEntries.esp*Scrap Everything - Ultimate Edition.esp*StartMeUp.esp

not entirely sure, just sometimes when travelling, i see floating shrubs and stuff and a large chunk of the terrain is missing, at least till i walk into.. might be the no disappearing act mod i have, i got it because of beantowns, but it might be causing more problems than it is solving...

i *think* i got it fairly stable now, my only real issues is vanishing terrain, can't seem to find a stable fix for it, but i changed up my load order, removed a few mods, i still pop save-o chem like it is candy just to be safe lol, but i can play for a good couple of hours... just the whole vanishing terrain is a little jarring, it pops back in when i walk into the area, but still..

so, i have a game where i run a tech minded char that uses a teleport system to get around the commonwealth, the mod i use is - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14244 and it works wonders, downside is, i can't set any custom teleport locations due to it resetting the skills from Be Exceptional - (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28222) i'm hoping a modding savvy individual might be able to make a patch where these 2 mods play nice with each other, i'd like to be able to set some custom locations without it completely resetting my skill points and perks... cheers

yeah, i had this problem myself for the longest time, and i stumbled upon the solution (for me at least), if you are using ENBoost stutter fix mod, remove it, once i had a decently powerful machine, i found i didn't need it anymore, and my textures all loaded with no problem, no idea why, but removing that mod fixed it for me..

i've been hoping for something like it ever since i started playing Fallout 4 but so far no luck, basically, i'd like to request a Alien weaponry mod, like mothership zeta, but.. more extensive, like an alien blade weapon, a customizable pistol to rifle weapon, have it use the basic alien blaster ammo, maybe even some sort of alien themed power armor, A01 Xeno PA... the other is a fast travel system that is like using a teleportation system, i know there are mods that do that, but a lot of them are not being updated anymore, and some don't work with other mods already out, i'm using 2 mods i found atm, and being very careful as one of them breaks the leveling up mod i use, that being SP teleport which breaks BE EXCEPTION/YOUR ARE SPECIAL mods when creating a custom teleport location, if it didn't do that it would be the perfect mod for my Advanced Tech Knight character. anyway, i'm using a fair few energy weapon based mods atm, but always felt the whole out of this world type weapons were lacking, i mean, there was/is so much potential with the Cabot family questline that could have led to an interesting set of weapons based on ancient aliens but i kinda just flopped with the serum/other ending.. found some pics that could be inspiration for the alien weapons, found a concept for Zetan power armor that would look amazing in fallout 4...

i did something i didn't want to do lol, i did a full fresh install of fallout 4, only i didn't install anything that could effect previs and whatever else, will have to see how it goes...

lol dang you caught me :P yeah, it's a total pain, i've look all over and can't find anything myself... ah well, thanks for taking a look, figures crossed someone who may have had this problem as well and managed to fix it will see my post.

i never changed anything in my fallout4.ini, so i wouldn't know, anything that might have been changed would have been with mods, only other tool i used is the customization tool, and i only ran a few changes there... here is my fallout4.ini settings if it will help.

the fixes i have in my mod list came after the fact, i would get to specific areas and would have those flickering issues, so i grabbed those patches, but the loading problem pretty much started out of the gate...

ok so, i recently started playing Fallout 4 again and went and grabbed all the normal mods that i do, and have got it to a point, where it is super stable, and very rarely crashes or freezes, anyway, even when first starting out, i start heading in a direction and i'll start getting literal load lag, like the game will stop, and my UI will disappear and the loading icon will appear in the bottom right corner and i have no clue what the problem is, with the mods i've installed i've restarted fresh with new save games and it still does it, and i can't seem to find anything about it when i do a search online... anyway to save time here are my specs. i also have it running from a dedicated SSD, and all my textures are the standard 2k ones, never saw the point in going higher on a 1080p monitor. PC specs below mods i'm running cheers to anyone who can help, the game is playable, just that one little issue is cooking my brain...

pretty much as it says, i'm playing a dark brotherhood assassin, and use bows a fair deal, and have found there are no arrows that really scream assassin, apart from the ebony arrows, and they just look goofy, i'm trying to track down some really good arrows/arrowhead overhauls, or if some kind soul is able to make one it would make my day, i'm fairly sure there are a fair few people who would be interested in something like this as well. i'd use other arrows, but the daedric arrows with the "oblivion gate" arrowhead just look dumb, same with the dragonbone arrowheads, some nice dark-themed arrowheads and arrows for higher levels would be an amazing idea, but my ability to make arrows goes as far as copying old models and just making them stronger, i'd really like to see some really cool looking ones, for example, taking the elven arrow model, and making them black and red with the arrowhead having a glowing effect, even some really good looking bows wouldn't be a bad idea, a lot of the bows i looked at, just seems overly extravagant... like the people who made them play to much world of warcraft and feel like everything needs to be like the WoW shoulder pads >.> another idea is using some of the things added via DLC, like Aetherium arrows would be amazing. i'd welcome any direction to cool arrow/bow mods as well. cheers for reading :D
