I keep doing that too. Every time I try to get through it and play the quest lines I end up totally sidetracked looking for stuff and then end up being chased by guards after I try to help people who are being bullied :D

Looking forward to it coming out on PC. Should be released at the end of this month. My sons are raving about it so it will be interesting.

Good morning all. Hope you had a good night. Still not heard from a few members who live on the East Coast. Hopefully all are ok... Well I'm totally shattered, slept well but feel like I haven't for some unknown reason :D

Oh I don't know, the munchkins I've had at my door have been so cute. All dressed up as witches, vampires, zombies, even the ones in strollers :D They were all so polite too which had me smiling :)

I watched the new The Thing (2011) which is supposed to be a prequel to The Thing (1982), it started out pretty great and went down hill rather rapidly although the end was amazing and actually lead into the older film. You need to watch it to see what I mean and it was brilliant, hammy in parts like I said, but the special FX were magic. You should watch it and let me know what you think. It was on Sky, don't know if it still is. :D

Yeah, I watched that once and didn't like it at all. Some films can affect me without meaning to, and that's strange in itself.

that's why I like the psychological thrillers. The ones that make you think about what's gonna happen, what has happened and what could happen. Silence of the Lambs is good for that.

The old films are the best even when you know when the frights are gonna bite ya. Still have the power to have me jumping out of my skin :D

Watched 2 of the original Friday 13th films today and scared myself silly :D

I really expected something crash, bang, whollop and was prepared to leap out of my skin. Instead I've rolled around laughing and my kids are now convinced I'm nuts. Happy Halloween everybody, don't eat too much candy :D

Maybe the most original, well-known, most talked about, murder scene of all time. The one that all the other slash horror movies try to emulate and fail miserably at :D

Whilst watching the news yesterday I was more than a little disturbed by the fact that Assassin's Creed III's release had been delayed by Superstorm Sandy and that people where complaining about it. How can people put the release of a game before the safety and well-being of people hit by a disaster the likes of which hit the US yesterday. With 50 dead and god knows how many missing (the thought of street people who may not ever be accounted for and apparently there are over 48,000 across the States that are registered), it saddens me that we think more of our own pleasure than the misfortunes of others. I think the developers are correct to stop the release as certain people can't get it and therefore it isn't fair for anyone to miss out. Then again maybe it is a selfish society we live in and we should just look out for ourselves and sod the little guy :(

You're not an idiot, you just learn differently and there are others like me out there who can help you. Keep calm, do what you can and learn at your own pace. Hands on subjects will be your easiest as you will most probably find you are more creative in nature (my twins are, they are excellent at anything that involves hands on work). There are ways and means to learn and get the grades you need, it may take longer, but believe me you will get there. You're a clever young man and have a determined way about you. Believe in yourself and you're half way there :D

Honey, if you get diagnosed with one disorder or another, let me know. I'll see what help I can give you from my end. Don't panic, things always look darkest before the dawn :D

They are designed to tell what form of learning disability you have. Different answers show different things and are indicative of different learning disabilities. As I said, there are no right or wrong answers.

You're looking at it too literally. It isn't an intelligence test per se its to see how you write, how you understand both the written and verbal word, how you see things and how you perceive what it is you see and hear. These are all indicators of the things you stated plus a number of others eg Irlen's Syndrome etc. Being dyslexic or having aspergers is not indicative of how intelligent you are, some of the most intelligent people I know have some form of "mental disorder". Yes, unfortunately that is what they are classed as, although I prefer the term "learning disability". The way you look at things and interpret them is different and you need to learn how to interpret them correctly. You may find that you don't understand sarcasm and some forms of humour as you will take it too literally. Eventually, over time, you will learn to accept humour for what it is and even gain one of your own which, if my twins are anything to go by, will be hysterically funny. They are quite the comedic duo when they start :D Accept it for what it is. There are no right or wrong answers, it is to tell what problems you may or may not have and to, hopefully, to come up with a clear plan of action for you and your educators to follow. If you need anything let me know. I used to tutor students with special needs at University so know a bit about it as I have dyslexia and Irlen's and my 5 girls all have Irlen's and dyslexia in varying degrees.

That is just sooooo funny. It encompasses how I feel every couple of hours "Stop the world!!! I wanna get off!!!" I'd still like to know how the hell it managed to climb up the fence without the aid of a ladder :D
