nope I win. The educational system seems to be different everywhere. I'm lucky that my high school age children are in a school that is amazing. They look after them spiritually, physically, emotionally and educationally. My youngest daughter has just started college full-time (she was part school part college taught last year) and she absolutely adores it. All three are encouraged to think. question, debate, research and learn in their own way, at their own pace and take the subjects they want to take (the core subjects are mandatory of course). They love school, love college and have all been bullied at some point. However, this has been dealt with swiftly and put down immediately. I'm sad that other schools are not as forthcoming as the one my sons go to. I'm also sad that children are not nurtured and protected in the very establishments that should do just that. Maybe one day...

:armscrossed: There are 52 weeks in a year :armscrossed: I'd prefer a job over school, but to get a job I need to finish school so there's that. School feels so useless currently. I could be teaching myself the important stuff right now, all we do in school is things I knew or could have learned in a very short amount of time. I'd give everything if I could go to a proper school outside of Croatia. The thing we have here is bs discipline, not knowledge and education :dry: People always tell me that I'm a rebel when it comes to me hating school, it's not just that I hate school, it's just the fact that I want good education out of it. Something I most likely won't get over here. Thank god for the Internet I say. Free education all over the place :D Gotta let you have some time off, maybe a week in the summer and a week for Christmas... Not that cruel lol

I've got all mine off this week. Half term :facepalm: I still think that school should be mandatory 50 weeks a year :D :D

lol. You guys are such wimps. I went to watch Sinister with my twin girls who are 24 and their friend who's 30. Their friend dropped her phone whilst putting it away. Everyone to the right of us left a foot out of their seats. I howled with laughter. I knew when things were gonna go "bump" if you like and so held one of my daughter's hands each time they screamed, I cringed and the guys behind us laughed their socks off. Honestly they say I embarrass them when we go to the cinema, good grief they're worse a supposedly "scary" movies :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
