It was a firewall, silly me. Somehow blocking it even when it was closed. Some of the "Allow access" questions didn't pop up.

My internet is indeed connected, though.

Upon running BOSS, I receive the following errors in "Summary": No internet connection detected. Masterlist auto-updater could not check for updates. No change in recognised plugin list since last run. Critical Error: ".\Skyrim\masterlist.txt" cannot be found! Check the Troubleshooting section of the ReadMe for more information and possible solutions. Utility will end now. Note that I cannot find the "masterlist" document. Would be thankful for any help.

Yay. I had seen that video a few times previously, but I had never done it exactly as Gopher says and run the archived Data folder through NMM, because previously I never needed to. But doing this seemed to fix the problem. Thank you!

I have full access for my hardrive, and the folders within including the application. All user have full access; SYSTEM, (My User), Administrator, Trusted Installer. Same problem. Help?

Hi, Trying to reintall SKSE, and I get this error when trying the install application: "Error opening file for writing: E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\skse_loader.exe Click Abort to stop the application, Retry to try again, or Ignore to skip this file." If I manually copy and place the files, or extract them, and run skse_loader this error occurs: "Launching E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\\TESV.exe failed (5)" It happens on both builds of SKSE from the website, Administrator privileges are fine, Steam is running, and Skyrim is a fresh install. Help?
