  1. I was wondering if anyone has found a mod that allows you to "forget" all locations you have visited on your map so you can re-explore them. This would be the exact same concept as the "Amnesia" perk from Fallout 3's Ultimate Perk Pack that allows you to re-explore the wasteland. I tried searching around but couldn't find anything, if anyone could help that would be great.
  2. Have you tried starting a new game? Maybe the script just failed to run. If starting a new game isn't an option, you could try the console command: player.additem xxFA1696 1 Replace the xx with the two hexadecimal characters that represent FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm in your load order. Mine happens to be 0F, but yours will probably be different. These characters can easily be seen in FOMM under the "Mod Index" column. This code should add the <FWE Control Panel> item to your inventory. I'm not sure if everything will work fine though. Your missing control panel could be indicative of other scripts that may also have failed to run. Had to bump this. You sir are my savior, that is the exact command I was looking for, I REALLY didn't want to have to start a new game.
  3. I came home from a long journey to find that my wife has developed a serious bug. The kind that makes it so that her legs refuse to stop moving. I took a quick clip: ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"> Basically she's stuck in a weird looping 'dancing' looking animation and I can't get it to go away. I have tried the following console commands: sae idlestop sae idlechair sae idlelaydown sae idle huga tcl tai And nothing provides a permanent fix. Help PLEASE EDIT: Found the solution. Using the "resurrect" command on my spouse fixed the glitch. I updated the video accordingly. Phew!
  4. You are indeed correct :P I posted this then kind of gave up and went back to playing. I was playing around, then *poof*, it worked :D
  5. No matter what I try I can't seem to get Skyrim to recognize the changes I've made to the camera in my Skyrim.ini file. I know it is reading from this specific file because it recognized the [General] sIntroSequence= entry, which skips the intro video. I have tried deleting the .ini and relaunching Skyrim, then changing it again - which didn't work. I tried entering RefIni in the console to refresh the ini - which also didn't work. Here is my Skyrim.ini [General] sLanguage=ENGLISH sIntroSequence= uExterior Cell Buffer=36 [Display] fShadowLODMaxStartFade=1000.0 fSpecularLODMaxStartFade=2000.0 fLightLODMaxStartFade=3500.0 iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=2048 bAllowScreenshot=1 [Audio] fMusicDuckingSeconds=6.0 fMusicUnDuckingSeconds=8.0 fMenuModeFadeOutTime=3.0 fMenuModeFadeInTime=1.0 [Grass] bAllowCreateGrass=1 bAllowLoadGrass=0 [GeneralWarnings] SGeneralMasterMismatchWarning=One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. I have v1.8.151.0. If anyone could help that would be great EDIT: Fixed. Camera changes are not instant, I had to play for a bit and the camera eventually snapped into position
  6. Really quick and simple: I would love to see a mod that allows you to convert items to gold. I believe it could be done using an Alteration spell that converts an item to (x)% of the item's face value. To be honest I would be fine with ≥10%, I just have so many god damn items in my player house that it lags when opening the inventory screen. They are doing nothing but take up my inventory space and there is way too much to sell to vendors who only have a wallet of >1500 gold. For anyone who played Runescape waaaay back in the day you will remember the Alchemy spell :D http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120416174048/runescape/images/5/5c/High_alchemy.gif (RIP good old days) I have tried searching and the only transmuting I have found has been strictly regarding ore.
  7. What do you mean you "can't rollback"?
  8. Go to this site: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx Select the correct operating system (32/64bit) On the next page, click "Previous Drivers" http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/6205/44134539.png
  9. Confirmed, rolling back to the Catalyst Driver v11.12 fixed this issue, whew!
  10. I'm getting some really weird graphical issues, only recently after I got the most recent drivers (odd). Before I get into it, here are my specs: GPU: XFX 5850 1GB CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T I'm currently using the most recent version of AMD's Catalyst v12.2, and DirectX11 Here's an example of some of the weirdness I'm experiencing http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/7746/screenshot22mw.jpg Here's my DxDiag Any help would be amazing, I can't enjoy the game with the graphics like this! I'm going to try to rollback the drivers to a previous version, to see if that makes a difference. EDIT: Fixed, the solution was rolling back the drivers
  11. XBox controller settings disabled, pressed C so that the item is in full view, still can't rotate. This new inventory feature was supposed to enhance gaming experience, however I can't rotate an item to view the combination to open a door...so yeah, awesome.
  12. Not exactly what I was looking for but thanks anyway
  13. Ya, I find that pretty much after lv15 you start to accumulate obscene amounts of ammo you have nothing to do with! I don't care if the ghouls are fast or slow, I just want to defend a building from them :P
  14. One thing that Fallout is missing is somewhere to defend. Walking through the wasteland, you find buildings that you think, "Man, this would be a really nice spot to defend..." I think it would be nice if there actually was a mod that would make it like an "I am Legend" kind of thing where ghouls are spawned at night and leave in the morning. (maybe 9PM-3AM?) It would make the wasteland more dangerous and fun. Once it starts to get dark, you will immediately try to find safety in a building. If anyone could try to attempt this mod that would be awesome :D *Come on, how fun would it be to load up an area with frag mines and get your sniper ready? :D
  15. If you don't have a data folder, then you messed up your installation.
  16. I want to be able to move bodies out of the middle of the city, and the default grab is not doing it for me. It's sort of annoying when I try to move a body, and I can only pick up an arm...
  17. Why is this in the Oblivion section
  18. Haha, interesting how someone who wrote an article on fixing CTD's, is now looking how to fix a CTD! Anyhow, a quick thing you could try is going to \My Games\Fallout3 and deleting the Fallout.ini. Then startup F3 and see if it fixes anything
  19. Yes it works, and it's incredibly easy to install. Follow the videos that show how to install mods (they were on the Nexus front page) and it shows you how to install that exact mod. Just use Fallout Mod Manager and the Package Manager (in Fallout Mod Manager) and you will learn to easily install every mod. Source: Me, I have it
  20. I love the Enclave Commander...there is nothing better than a whole squad storming a town clad in Winterized armor with Ak-47's...
  21. When I load up F3, the main music plays...that's normal. However, when I load my game, the music keeps playing along with the other music/sounds in my savegame, causing an annoying set of music and sounds at the same time. Has anyone had this, and is there any good way to fix it? The only way I can seem to fix it is by going outside and inside, and fast traveling a lot.
  22. Set program as high priority: -Open notepad -Paste this in there @echo off cd /d "\GAME\LOCATION\GOES\HERE\" start /high GAME_NAME -Change game location and game name (ex. oblivion.exe) -Save as .bat file -Oblivion setup for high priority would look like this: @echo off cd /d "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\" start /high oblivion.exe Use >2gb in games: Here (works in just about every game) Turn off visual effects more maximum performance: -Right click My Computer and go to Advanced System Settings -Go to Performance>Settings -Adjust for best performance For AMD Computers: Get AMD Fusion and under the AMD tab, select Max Performance Online, or offline. Also, defragging is key. Enjoy!
  23. Some other tips: Set program as high priority: -Open notepad -Paste this in there @echo off cd /d "\GAME\LOCATION\GOES\HERE\" start /high GAME_NAME -Change game location and game name (ex. oblivion.exe) -Save as .bat file -Oblivion setup for high priority would look like this: @echo off cd /d "C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\" start /high oblivion.exe Use >2gb in games: Here (works in just about every game) Turn off visual effects more maximum performance: -Right click My Computer and go to Advanced System Settings -Go to Performance>Settings -Adjust for best performance For AMD Computers: Get AMD Fusion and under the AMD tab, select Max Performance Online, or offline. 24. I don't know if this is the theme you are looking for, but a gun that grabs all surrounding objects (anything on the ground; from tin cans to dead bodies) and sends them flying at the targeted area. Imagine the boxes in this picture are random objects scattered on the ground, and that someone is going to be seriously injured from the boxes being flung at them. I don't know if that exactly explains what I'm trying to say, but hopefully you get the gist. *Game: Cellfactor: Revolution
  25. There's a difference between Asian-style games, and Asian-made games. A huge difference.
