  1. First I hope this is the right forum, I'm not really sure where it should go but since this is a question and answer section it felt like the best choice, anywho. In my current save I noticed NPCs added by a mod incorrectly lacked respawn flags, I fixed this with TES5EDIT already. But my question is can this take affect in my save even though the actors in question already died, or will I need to uninstall the mod, clean save, and reinstall it to sort it out? As far as I knew the latter would be the required solution, but I'm hoping I might be wrong so I thought it was best to ask. Big thanks to anybody who can help.
  2. Basically I need to do a minor edit to the esp of a mod in my bash patch (however, the thing that needs changed has nothing to do with the elements that require the bash patch). My question is, will I need to remake patch anyway or am I able to make the adjustment without incident? Thanks
  3. Alright. Simply put I'm working on a mod where I've changed some of the pet followers to be more diverse in conjunction with a mod that adds more dogs to the game. My goal is to change some of these into other animals such as bears, sabrecats or wolves. When I do this they show up, fight, sound and function properly except for the fact they can't be spoken to at all which I assume has to do with a flag on one of the models due to them being marked as enemies, or something. This reinforced by the fact this issue isn't present when changing the vanilla dogs to creatures that can be spoken to ingame already (armor trolls, husky, death hounds, ect). Also, when I cursor over them I see no name tag or anything else as though they're enemies. I'm wondering if it has to do with the faction of the base models or something? maybe I'd need to duplicate them, or something. Basically I was wondering if somebody could tell me a quick way of resolving this since I'm by no means a master moder and don't think I'd be able to create an entirely new character for the game or use other similar, more drastic solutions. Thanks a bunch in advance!
  4. Recently I downloaded a really nice mod to add a few new mounts to the game, but it has a bug that's causing all the horses to become essential for some reason. Since the author for the mod seems to be missing I wanted to go ahead and fix it myself but I'm not sure how I'd do it or what I'd need to change in the esp file. Some direction would be really awesome. Thanks in advance
  5. I used Mod Organizer to install it. And I put the textures pretty low in the order to make sure they couldn't be canceled out by any of the other horse textures I'm using.
  6. Currently I downloaded a texture pack with a recolor to make Frost white and no matter what I do I can't get it to show up in game. I'm positive the paths are correct because the exact same ones are working for shadowmere (with different file names obviously). my files are, frostsaddle.nif horsefrost.nif ashorsewhite.dds ashorsewhite_n.dds assaddlefrost.dds assaddlefrost_n.dds horsemanetail.dds horsemanetail_n.dds I'm pretty new to modding, but so far my texture replacements have worked so I'm pretty confused. Could somebody tell me what's going on and or fix it for me? I'd be extremely grateful, thanks.
