Makes two of us where de-activating uBlock Origin fixed the issues (though I'm still on Chrome; I never seem to have the time to migrate over to Brave).

Same here; confirming that my download history is entirely intact, with no omissions (so far as I can tell).

Right now? I'm more surprised that the staff have not outright (temporarily) disabled downloads, else taken NexusMods as-a-whole offline for the downtime required to restore said database records related to downloads.

What worries me in this particular case, was that not even several days ago the NexusMods staff definitely had to do a database-restore-from-backup that resulted in roughly 24 hours of recorded download activity being lost, but for this time around? Depending on how old the backups are that the staff have to use for this latest incident, even more activity may be lost. A minor inconvenience for the vast majority of users, but something that annoys web admin / tech support types such as myself.

As of 25 October 2022, 1035 Pacific Daylight Time the issue continues to persist.

Look in '<data1_dat>\Assets\tpp\motherbase\script\MbmCommonSetting.lua' Find/Search for lines in that file which start with: 'TppMotherBaseManagement.RegisterUniqueStaff'; these are the lines that define the statistics of unique NPCs, including Venom Snake, the player's Avatar, and so on. A quick check shows that the NPC that you're looking to edit is assigned the 'uniqueTypeId=32' and 'nameLangMessageId="staff_name_99_149"' fields. This particular line is the one you want to edit (the various '*SectionPoints=' values).

Been poking through the various .lua files, to see if there was a way to unlock the bionic arm equipment slot in the loadout screen for either gender DD soldiers... so far, no luck at all.

Did any of them note whether they were running Java v7, or like myself and probably a fairly sizable percentage, still on v6? Can't uninstall v6 for some reason or another, without leaving an utter mess in the Registry; and having both v6 and v7 side-by-side has caused... issues, for a fairly small number of peeps that I talk to once every other blue moon.
