It's not that bad. On topic, it might be hard to get the balance right, but it's an intriguing idea. Maybe refine it based on the quality of the gem, if someone were to do it - flawless holds more than normal ruby, perhaps. Or hell, maybe use a charged gem in jewelcrafting to add a small bonus to whatever you're making, without sacrificing the enchanting slot. That would be *really* hard to balance properly, but fun maybe. I think a possibility would be too make them craftable potions, and with a script remove so much health/stamina/magicka removed according to the potion u made.
