After taking the time to upgrade, I can say that I haven't noticed any problems with NMM or in Skyrim itself. I have to say, I enjoy the new features (such as FNIS, Dual Sheath support, etc.). It definitely is nicer to be able to do all of that from one console instead of hunting down app shortcuts. Running Windows 8.1 and NMM 0.60.9
