  1. I don't like the mage or rogue armors. There are good looking armors you can download but they are overpowered in the beginning and underpowered later. Has any mod been made were you can set the appearance of your character while using the equipment you find in-game for stat boosts? Like how when you equip a robe it doesn't show the type of gloves or boots you have equipped. Perhaps something like the 'vanity slot' systems that are used in MMO's?
  2. This might be just what I was looking for. The second one sounds almost like crafting. I'll download and try them. Thanks.
  3. I was about to start oblivion again and put together a set of armor from various mods. I want my character to look this way but I don't want armor that is overpowered in the beginning and underpowered later. I would like to use the game provided armor for stats and bonuses only, and keep the modded armor (with no stat bonuses) equipped. I would like it if the armor wore down and broke normally. Has this been done or does anyone know how it could be done?
  4. I'm trying play as a rouge but already I'm tired of how the character looks in light armor. All light armor in this game looks the same so there's no hope of finding a more appealing set later. Is there is a mod that allows you to change the models of the light armor you find to instead use the models for clothing. I've seen a mod called "winter's forge" that sounds like what I'm looking for, but It adds allot of extra stuff. I just want to change how the armor I find looks.
  5. No one has any ideas or info about how I could do this? It should be possible because there is head tracking while the enemy blocks but just not while they attack. Maybe I need to edit the oblivion.ini file, or possibly the attack animations? There has to be a way to do this. Any suggestions would be welcome.
  6. I am playing oblivion with a custom race that is only .75 height. People look at him when they talk to him or pass by, but when they swing a weapon at him they look straight ahead, which is over his head. Is there a reason why head tracking isn't used during attack animations? Is there a way to add it to the animations?
  7. Roberts 'bulky' body replacer and the 'bodybuilder' body replacer both have wide neck versions but I've only seen the human head wide neck mesh. Has anyone done a khajiit or orc wide neck head mesh?
  8. Anyone know were I can find this kanabō mod or what mod its included in? http://img851.imageshack.us/img851/6808/52857.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  9. At the beginning of the Dwarf Noble origin, Lord Dace ask you to support the return of all rights to Dwarfs that have gone to the surface, but you find out it is part of a scheme. If you don't support Lord Daces plan will it have conciseness later in the game after you have gone to the surface?
  10. Post removed. Do NOT repost that. You will be banned if you do so.
  11. I recently saw Dragon age ultimate edition for 35$ and finally bought it. I'd heard about the DRM on the DLC that makes you have to go online to "activate" it. This is a problem because I'm going to be playing on a computer without an internet connection, and besides, I don't want to register or sign-up for anything. Has any one found a way around this since the DLC is supposed to be on the disk? Also, I've never played dragon age so before I break the shrink-wrap, is the ultimate edition worth the 35$ without the DLC?
  12. What program do you use to make models for armor and weapons mods?
  13. Calm down. I have no idea why you are taking a tone as if I insulted you personally. My problem is, when the quest starts you are supposed to be hunting down a gang that has been terrorizing a small town. Yet, when you find them, all your responses are "YOU'RE NOT BAD AT ALL" "I KNOW THIS MUST BE HARD FOR YOU" "LET ME UNDERSTAND YOU". Even the neutral (evil?) responses view them as persecuted and ignore what they did or might do. You can't play out the quest as a lawman type character and there is no resolution for the murders or the fact that they were raising hell in that town. If you don't except the cannibals and forget why you were after them, you can't finish the quest. I have left the quest unfinished and moved on. From what I've seen of them in the game, the brotherhood of steel are in no way similar to this situation.
  14. Why would you believe any of that or be so quick to forgive and forget considering why you were tracking them? The towns people wanted to fight the family before anyone died, yet magically all is forgiven and the town is okay with a cannibal living next door? It doesn't fit at all with the character I'm playing, and to me, makes no sense. I tracked them down to force them to stay away from the town, not to bargain. And i wanted justice for the dead Wests, but ultimately it was like they never existed. The guy even compares humans to cattle. I can't hold that guy responsible for killing his parents or view him as a threat. I have to believe that there is such a thing as "natural" cannibalism. I have to forgive (and not even mention) the family for drinking blood from the dead Wests and for tormenting that town. I also have to believe they are not dangerous because they say so, even though all I know about them for a fact is their behavior in town and that they are cannibals.
  15. I'm playing as a good guy but the responses when dealing with the family in the "blood ties" quest are way too sympathetic. You are given reason to believe that the West's son joined with the family and killed his parents, yet when you track him down, instead of demanding answers you beg him to leave with you. If you tell him to stay he thanks you for understanding. If you say that he is a murderer, he says that the conversation is over... and it is!? What about the people he killed? Even if you hear them out, why would you believe the family? Why doesn't anyone in town care that the kid killed his parents and is a cannibal? The tunnels the family hangs out in are full of traps yet they let strangers walk around their camp. I haven't found any conversation responses that will cause them to fight me. You can't tell the family to leave the town alone or else. Is there any way other than randomly attacking them that I can solve this quest without being okay with cannibals/murders?
