  1. I advise you to say goodbye to your family and relatives. This game will be the bane of your social life for the next three years. Welcome to Vvardenfell. ;)
  2. There some initial steps early on in the game that helped me feel important in my role as Dovakhiin. Most notably being named thane, and earning the respect of Balgruuf. Besides this and the encounter with Paarthurnax however, I really do just feel like another tool. Nothing distinguishing me from every other hero in the TES games, besides being able to spit out words that kill people.
  3. For me, Skyrim is a complete and utter improvement over Oblivion (Besides spell-making. ;_;). Oblivion is certainly a good game, but I'd often feel almost bored with the generic fantasy setting and background. There wasn't much of a sense of discovery. Still, if that doesn't bother you, it has the hallmarks that Bethesda is known for.
  4. Was pretty torn when choosing. Chose Balmora in the end, too much sentimental value. D:
  5. My bet is somewhere on the East Coast. I have a good feeling about the area around Boston. Just a hunch. EDIT: But from your list, I like the idea of it being in New Orleans.
  6. Mauled by a bear at level 25. Sad thing is, I soloed two blood dragons before this.
  7. They're tough to kill at a distance, really only because of their fire breath. Running in close range, it only takes a few power attacks with dual wielding weapons to bring them down. They began appearing for me at around level 32.
  8. About 102 hours right now. If my time from Oblivion has taught me anything, it's that I'll be sinking plenty more in soon. I plowed out about 323 hours of Oblivion. I have no doubt it'll be the same with Skyrim. :P
  9. I honestly loved Barbas' voice. It was exactly how I imagined it.
  10. Running beautifully for me atm. We'll see if I run into problems. Hopefully not, another FPS drop like from 1.2 would probably make me burst into tears.
  11. I love Call of Cthulhu, and the entirety of the Cthulhu Mythos. However, I haven't been able to find any Oblivion mods similiar to this. Are there any Oblivion mods out there inspired or is like Call of Cthulhu? I've already tried Gates to Aesguaard, that didn't really do it for me. Although it was a good mod. Help would be appreciated. ;)
  12. I went to my Oblivion Data Directory, and there was no Elsweyr folder present. =/
  13. I tried using this mod with OBMM, I added all three parts of the mod (The current version) and the silent mp3 files into one omod, and then I created it. When I activated it, there were no problems. However, when I launch Oblivion to play the mod, it's not even there. It's an empty landmass. There is no Elsweyr esp. file either. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. :)
  14. That's fine, you don't have to like it. But it's not really anorexic, just pretty slim. It's just supposed to be another alternative to other replacers. If you don't like the body-type, well, there are plenty of others out there, and they are all pretty damn good. But I do appreciate that you speak your mind. Everyone likes to be praised a lot, but without opposition, what's it worth? Hmm, I like it. The only thing is, the, err, nipples kind of look blood red.. Almost too much, in my opinion. Just my opinion though, everyone has a right to disagree.
