  1. In response to post #67080591. #67080751, #67080816, #67085126, #67085821, #67085986 are all replies on the same post. @FelesNoctis you likely didn't have the: Use emoticons checkbox checked ;)
  2. In response to post #60323101. #60323591 is also a reply to the same post. Hopefully Nexus realizes that they may need to introduce a percentage split option for mods that make use of other mods. Besides if you yourself don't want to earn money, you can choose instead to donate the DP to three charities that are listed on the store page.
  3. Direct quote from Schlangster in the comments thread for SkyUI: Short answer: I don't know, but I think it's unlikely. Longer answer: We're no longer active and I in particular am not going to put any more work in. Got neither the time nor is it fun anymore, so I really shouldn't be doing it. In general, I have nothing against porting it though. If we ever get to the point where someone else took care of all the details and all I have to do is update the .esp, recompile and upload, then I will do so. I just don't really expect anyone to do that.

Bethesda should man up and allow Mod Creators to setup Patreon pages. Currently Bethesda doesn't allow those sorts of donation pages where the donation page is for the mod or mod team they only allow personal donations.
  5. In response to post #24689064. Donations to mod authors on Nexus are handled through Paypal. The Nexus doesn't see any of your financial data in those transactions, nor does it see that data if you donate directly to the Nexus or buy a premium subscription using Paypal.
  6. In response to post #24689314. #24689404 is also a reply to the same post. You guys should honestly be supporting getting more donations directed at mod authors and not paid mods locked behind paywalls which will only be detrimental to the long term modding community for any PC game. There's a reason why Mojang forbade the outright selling of minecraft mods.
  7. In response to post #24689134. #24689324 is also a reply to the same post. Except Bethesda has already got their money from the sales of the game and sales of the DLC. Why do they deserve jack all from the work of mod authors especially those that add new stuff to the game and DO NOT reuse assets from vanilla skyrim??
  8. In response to post #24687539. Modders shouldn't be allowed to lock stuff behind paywalls plain and simple. Instead they should be encouraged to provide benefits to donators. Early access to new versions of a mod before the non-donators for example could be one way to encourage donations without dealing a potential death blow to the modding community in the long term (which is what paywalls will do) especially if Bethesda decides that for FO4 and TES6 that ALL mods have to be released on the paid workshop (that would cause the price of the game to go from the cost of the game and official DLC to skyrocket depending on how many mods that you use, and some people use hundreds of mods).
  9. In response to post #24605154. #24607209, #24607279, #24607314, #24607404, #24607539, #24607559 are all replies on the same post. Most likely they had their posting privileges revokes in the discussions due to spamming the link. Spam is a very valid reason for a posting ban.
  10. In response to post #24584389. #24584569, #24584719 are all replies on the same post. Just leave Valve out of it, they don't deserve any cut, they're making boatloads of money as it is.
  11. In response to post #24574924. #24574934, #24575224 are all replies on the same post. Until Authors start pulling mods from the Nexus in favor of paywalling them. Valve and Bethesda need to be ashamed of this.
  12. In response to post #24572569. #24572664, #24572779, #24573134, #24573299, #24573349, #24573499, #24573674, #24573719, #24574234, #24574579, #24574739, #24574904, #24574909, #24575124 are all replies on the same post. Due to the paywall that Wet and Cold is now behind I'm simply not going to support Isoku, I was going to do a straight donation through the Nexus. but now I'm not because I cannot get the new version without having to pay a third party to access it.
  13. In response to post #24569119. #24569589 is also a reply to the same post. Yet isoku is getting shafted by Valve and Bethesda and seemingly doesn't realize it, he only gets 25% of what's spent. I'd bet he makes more off donations through Nexus than he could ever by locking it behind the workshop paywall.
  14. In response to post #24569504. I use mod organizer, it doesn't work well with workshop mods, so anyone who uses Mod Organizer will be hesitant to pay for any mod through the workshop.
  15. In response to post #24568089. #24568194, #24568259, #24568389, #24568499, #24568534, #24568589, #24568629, #24568659, #24568809, #24568894, #24569004, #24569054, #24569089 are all replies on the same post. And then there's Isoku who hasn't said a word and only released his 2.0 version of Wet and Cold on the workshop. Which has led to a massive **** storm on his comments section (which has been locked and the storm is continuing on his workshop page.)
