The construction would fit in well with survival mods, skins, wood bone etc. The fishing aspect would also encourage its use even when you don't need to cross a water body to get to a certain place. Hope someone who builds mods takes up the challenge and has a go making this.

Hi all, is there a way to turn your player character into a follower using the creation kit? I would like to use one of my previously played characters as a follower for my new hunter gatherer character, could you please advise on a tutorial that will help me achieve this aim. A video tutorial would be great but if there are no videos then a text tutorial would also be great. Many thanks.

Hi all, could I please get some recommendations for tutorials on creating custom followers with the Skyrim Creation Kit. Detailed tutorials on how to set the look of my follower, spell list, behaviour, dialog etc. Also info on how to release a created follower as a download on the nexus. I'm interested in creating a deep character with a lot of dialog so I can interact with them. At first I just wish to create individual followers who fit with the playing style of whatever character I am currently playing. My long term goal is to create a small hunter gatherer tribe who can set up camp, be assigned tasks such as cooking, foraging, using tanning rack etc. I am currently big into "realistic needs & diseases", "Hunterborn", "Frostfall" so would love to have my own small nomadic hunter gatherer tribe. Like the idea. Would be a great mod. To just be able to put the cursor over an npc to detect if they are hostile would be very handy.

These 3 mods are simply amazing when used together: Frostfall, Hunterborn, Realistic needs & diseases. They have added a new dimension for my personal style of play. I'm big into survival, foraging, hunting, camping in real life so as a newcomer to skyrim I was blown away by how cool these mods are. If you have not tried them, you just have to give them a shot if you want to play a hunter/gatherer type character. I also posted a request in the mod request section for a craftable canoe/kayak mod so you don't freeze to death when trying to get to Islands and places only accessible by water. If you run the frostfall mod, you stand a good chance freezing to death in the water.

Maybe someone could write a new script for it? I'm not sure how scripting works, if I knew I would have a try myself, I'll leave it up to the peeps that know what they are doing. But it would be an awesome thing to craft your own Canoe from wood and animal skins ;)

I was just looking for such a mod. With all the new emersion mods, like frostfall, hunterborn and realistic needs & diseases this would be a great addition. I'm surprised that with so many hunting mods this has not been implemented.

Hi, Would love to see a mod that adds craftable Kayaks/Conoes for users of the Frostfall mod. I have seen the mod that adds drivable boats but would prefer to craft a hide Kayak/Canoe. As we all know, Freezing water can be a killer, yet some locations are only accessible by crossing water. I know there are magic items that can deal with this but as I play a Nord Hunter and like the emersive game and RP I avoid most magic. Would also be very cool to add trolling for fish as an option to the boat. Be able to craft troling lines and hooks, then when out on the water drag them behind the boat. Would love to hear others thoughts on this subject.

I'm very confused as to what ones I need to get. I'm not interested in a nude version either. Also what file do I need to only change my character and not all NPC's?

Hi all, I have some questions regarding "Better Males" mod. Does this mod: 1. Add better muscle definition? 2. Have extra hairstyles & beards? 3. Change all NPC's or just your character? 4. Does this mod work at character creation and/or with the showracemenue? 5. Can I use this mod on to alter a previously created and saved character that was made before adding this mod using the showracemenue? 6. Hi all, I like to switch between playing styles so I like to create a number of different characters to play. I currently play a male Ranger/Hunter style character and am also going to create a male Conan style barbarian character. I'm a huge fan of underworld movies so intend to create a vampire female character also. The build will be a dual wield dagger/stealth for standard combat, but I will also be dabbling in necromancy. But I'm having reservations, I have read that becoming a vampire drastically changes the look of your character, skin change, sunken cheeks etc. I don't want to take a lot of time creating a character exactly as I want them, just to have them change once I become a vampire. Could anyone recommend a simple fix/mod that will prevent my character from changing they're apearence.
