  1. I was able to get help from sheson at the step project. It turns out it was something wrong with the LODGen.exe in the edit scripts folder. It must not have liked my particular computer. Sheson was able to get it working for me.
  2. I should add that it's somewhat inconsistent which files xLODGen fails to write. For example, when I try to generate LOD for WastelandNV, sometimes "WastelandNV.Level32.X32.Y32.nif" will have the error message while another time "WastelandNV.Level16.X16.Y16.nif" will have it. I don't get errors with my textures, thankfully. I only get the "error writing" message with meshes. I don't think that it is an issue with mod compatibility because I've tried to do the same thing with only the LOD mods, MoreMojave, and the base game and DLC's loaded. I only see these errors when I try to generate Terrain LOD. I've tried to generate LOD a few more times and the result is the same. It's particularly noticeable around anything related to MoreMojave. Latest attempts:
  3. I've been trying to find answers for a problem I am having with xLODGen, but nobody seems to have talked about the problem I'm having. I keep getting an error message saying "Error writing [landscape nif] The process cannot access the file ['landscape nif'] because it is being used by another process". I am using MO2 and I have the output set outside of the MO2 directory like "In case Mod Organizer is used, set output path outside of game and MO virtual file system directory" says, but there are meshes that randomly fail to generate. After a few lines it feeds me an error message saying "Log ended at [local time]" and "Terrain LOD meshes generation error: LODGen process error, exit code 0000025D". I'm not sure what's causing this because I added xLODGen as an exception to my antivirus, I ran it as administrator, and the output isn't protected by UAC. I followed the Viva New Vegas instructions to the letter. I've got all of the LOD resources recommended for New Vegas, but it still refuses to generate some meshes. I can get object LOD just fine but terrain LOD eludes me. My first attempt resulted in this mess: While my second attempt gave me this as a result: Additionally, I've got my load order here: Thanks for any help I can get on this. loadorder.txt
  4. Stingray Air Support by Undivide (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15939/) is a fantastic mod, easily one of my favorites for Fallout 4, but I've never been a big fan of Bethesda's "Stingray Deluxe". Bethesda, in their concept art book, originally intended for the Stingray aircraft to be a private jet of some sort. I never really thought it looked like a military aircraft myself, and it seems that their concept art confirmed it. Now, 2 years ago, a modder by the name of Strider5 created a highly detailed supersonic bomber based on a mashup of a few Cold War era jets (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/40172/) as both a settlement object and a modder's resource. I wondered if it would be possible to replace the Stingray with Strider5's supersonic bomber ever since Strider5 released their assets. I tried to do so myself once, but it never worked (that's what I get for just swapping models in xEdit!). I'm certain that it can be done since ShiroNyanP was able to create an A-10 Warthog version of the mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/51184/). I was hoping that someone with more skill and know-how than I could succeed where I failed. It would be much appreciated. If anyone wants to give it a try, you've got my sincere thanks.
  5. I've loved the hazmat suit since I first saw the ghost people back when Dead Money came out, but there were always three things that irked me about it. One was the lack of gloves, one was the constant nightvision, and one was the big gap in the neck. There are plenty of mods that resolved the first two issues, but I've never seen anything fixing that neck gap. My knowledge of nifskope only extends to changing add-on nodes in Fallout 4 to make power armor headlamps compatible. I don't actually know how to edit meshes, nor do I have any 3d modeling tools. I was hoping that some enterprising mod maker with more ability than me could close up that annoying gap. It would be much appreciated.
  6. Thanks, yeah I can shorten them, and aim for an asthetic like FO4's Sweet, I look forward to it. Thanks!
  7. Great work so far! I'm sorry to hear about the PC issues. Personally, I think that the shoulders could do with some shortening myself. I always thought that they jut out way too far past the arms. I think Fallout 4's T-45 had a much more reasonable length for the pauldrons. I know how difficult it is to work in an environment not well suited for a mouse/without a mouse. I really appreciate all of the work you're doing.
  8. I never really had a problem with the T-51b's shoulders. I've always thought that the T-45d's pauldrons were the ones that were unreasonably large. I'd really appreciate them being shrunken. Great work on the T-51b shoulders.
  9. Well, I for one would certainly appreciate a resized T45D pauldron mod. I always liked the look of the T45, but hated how oversized the pauldrons were. It's like they jut out a foot past your arms. The version Bethesda made for Fallout 4 is way more reasonable.
  10. After playing through the Creation Club GNR plaza addon, I found myself really liking what was done with the Talon Company armor. A slightly modified athletic outfit serves as the perfect underarmor for Combat Armor. I just wish that I could customize the combat armor on the outfit. Both the Custom Combat Armor mod and Unified Clothing Overhaul mod add more advanced combat armor customization. I was hoping that some kind mod maker could patch the Talon Company armor together with UCO or CCA. I'd be extremely grateful.
  11. Well I haven't seen anything about the RPD, I do have some good news for you. ShadowRanger787 has made an excellent mod expanding Nuka World's Handmade Rifle. Handmade Rifle Extension includes both the RPK-74 and RPK, among a whole host of other Warsaw Pact and AK derived rifles. Here's a link to ShadowRanger's mod if you're interested: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31807?tab=description
  12. I use both. As far as I know, they are perfectly compatible with each other. Now, if you are low on mod space, however, I would say America Rising is the better choice. America Rising has better audio quality and uses some really high quality custom assets. I still love Enclave Resurgent, but it is a bit dated.
  13. I 100% agree with you. The Janson EM-2 would look fantastic in Fallout. We need more experimental Cold War weapons. I looked around to see if anyone had done any work on an EM-2 model and found this low poly model on Sketchfab by TastyTony. Maybe someone could get in contact with the creator and go from there?
  14. In general, I really liked the Fallout 4 Army Fatigues, but I always felt like it needed something. While I realize that the fatigues are based off of the US Vietnam era BDU, I have always loved the boot gaiters of the WWII US Army uniform. Unfortunately for me, I have no ability to re-texture or remodel anything. I was hoping that someone with more knowledge than myself could add gaiters to the Army Fatigues. Thank you in advance.
  15. Have you tried to verify the files through steam? To do so, you need to right click on Fallout 4, go to properties, click on the local files tab, then click on verify integrity of game files. The only thing that I can think of is that the there is some kind of corrupt file responsible for your texture issue.
