Givin detail on previous post: Take the new texture/mesh that you want, re-name them to the on EVE is named, then drag to that folder and overwrite. -
I have been trying use a Weapon ported from FO:3 The weapon however has a scope on top and when aiming in NV the texture and mesh blocks a lot of the screen. The weap is from http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/11881/? I want to remove not the whole scope but the scope glass on each ends along with the texture, so that it's a hollow tube. I really like this idea!! Maybe you can put a handle that connects to the gauntlet rather than an invisible trigger. Minigun would be cool.

Earlier on the Troubleshooting Forum, I needed to know how to edit the Vault 13 Canteen Script. I wanted to change the 5 minute interval effect from restoring 15 health to 74 health. I edited the Actor Effect in the Geck and saved. (also made canteen a quest item) But when I tested in-game, the 5 minute message wouldn't appear. Can anyone help/ do it for me?

I remember I requested an arm minigun gauntlet a while back. Looks like ppl have similar ideas :)

The only way I can see to get her available is to use the "JIP CC&C" mod. With that mod, you can recruit any friendly npc as a companion. I actually did recruit her once.

For me, House or NCR. Depends on the Character I'm Role-Playing as. Like everyone has stated: 1) NCR has good intentions but are stretched thin and can't supply it's people and soldiers. The rulers are also corrupt and willing to exterminate groups of people just like the Legion. (Great Khans) 2) House seems bad, but talking to him shows he just wants to bring order. I though this was bad at first, but when viewing his endings, He left groups like the Boomers, Great Khans, and Freeside alone if you played right. He just wants the overall area, and that's it. And what's stopping him from becoming a dictator? The Courier. House wouldn't get anywhere without the Courier, and the Courier could easily kill House, so I think the Courier will keep him in line. House owes him/her that much. That being said, the NCR questline and Battle of Hoover Dam is more engaging :P. -

alright, the quest script mod works, my armor in-game appropriately displays 169, but i suffer way lower FPS and Loading screens. Though it clears up eventually. THANK YOU- 13 replies

The current un-edited path is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Oblivion\TESConstructionSet.exe" I also added the: "obse_editor_1_2.dll" the new folder looks like this:- 13 replies

Hm the Target field is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Oblivion\TESConstructionSet.exe" and when i replace "TESConstructionSet.exe" with "obse_loader.exe" -editor says it doesn't exist? My oblivion SteamApps common looks like this:- 13 replies

Huh thanks for the input. I'll be sure to try if probably this weekend. I'll then reply my results. I have experience with GECK (NV Edition) and Have worked a little bit with the TES Constriction Set. I like having "Power/ OP" Characters, In skyrim I have a 5306 Armor Rating. ;P- 13 replies

So a while back I requested a mod to permanently change a 'gs' game setting. I am getting annoyed having to type in: "setgs fmaxarmorrating 350" everytime i boot up oblivion. I have tried wrye bash but it's hard. Any scripts? mods? Guide for me? I currently have heavily enchanted armor which gives me a 169 heavy armor rating. and for a future armor will be more so the setting should be at a high number like 350 so i can see the actual rating rather than the vanilla 85 cap

I have the Vault 13 Canteen on my person always and I read that it gives a little bit of health when used, but is there anyway to change it through GECK? The wiki says it restores +15 HP (every 5 mins) I want to change it to say +50 every 5 mins,

I think the file path started with the C: I'll try to remove that and see if that works. -
SO I was trying out my First Retexture mod and when I apply the new texture to the weapons ingame, they are Purple. I have The TR (texture replacer) program and put my new custom meshes and textures into the data folder yet they are still not working? Help. I'll post pics if need be.
