  1. Really? I never tried to make something out of my hobbies and I never will, because for me it would be spoiled then. And yes it is nostalgia but when I began modding 20 years ago nobody talks about donations or payment. It's finished, that's live, but allow me to regret it.
  2. Though I'm not happy with donations at all I can live with that system. Many authors today seems to want donations, so we need a system and I cannot imagine a better one. I would never in my crazy dreams accept donations for mods, but I guess I'm very very old fashioned.
  3. Well, I like The Witcher 1 much more than every other game you mentioned and more than TW 2 and 3. That you or I dislike a game does'nt mean that it is a bad game. And I never experienced a bug, neither with the DVD nor with the GOG version (enhanced edition).
  4. There are not many mods for The Witcher 1, I think the main reason is, that Djinni (the modding tool) is not easy to use. Maybe the second reason is, that the most of us crazy people who love that game to date, love it because it is as it is.
  5. I totally agree with WickedClover. We need decent male followers, most of the are ugly or boys. I like Inigo too, but ... well, he is a cat and I'm no cat woman ;-). And I hate skimpy armors and mods that make women look like children with giant boobs, but I know that a lot of male gamers agree with me here. I think there is a bigger difference between adult or old school gamers and kiddies than between male and female gamers.
  6. Thank your for reminding me of Banished. I like this game, but I nearly forgot it. I'm amazed how many mods are created meanwhile. Now I have to play it again. And I'm one of the crazy people who prefer The Witcher 1 to the newer Witcher games. I even love the dated grafics, for me it's beautiful. Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
  7. In response to post #32520840. Exactly the same with me! Nevertheless I never had problems, but of course changing passwords now and then is wise. Not to do it is my own fault.
