  1. Save games will be compatible. Most mods will be compatible (or simply rendered redundant). Most people who are really into modding likely own all the DLC or will be getting the new version; and as others have stated it is far easier on the creators of mods to simply add tags rather than to force them to manage their mods across two different repositories. Personally I'm straining to see the benefit of forcing more work onto creators for nebulous benefit of the end user.
  2. I think it depends on your playstyle. This is a mod I want for myself to compliment my current mod comp, as well as the balance mod I just completed. I also use categorized Favorites which allows me to have some more flexibility outside of merely pausing. I think you guys are right about hard coding, I wonder then if there would be a way to merely block access to the character menu during combat? UPDATE : There IS a mod that blocks access to the menu, however it also seems to disable hotkeys, which is a bit strange. I've contacted him to find out his method in order to attempt to replicate/change it... but it seems like I'm the only one here who wants this. :(

  4. So here is my request, although if someone merely knows how I can do it in CK I would be happy to do it myself. I want to make it so when you go into the character menu, inventory-map-skills-magic. Time does NOT stop around you, enemies can keep hacking at you. It is essentially the last missing piece of the puzzle to make Skyrim the way I want, yet I have no idea how to achieve this effect as I'm relatively new to actually modding these games myself. Any old Vets have any ideas or suggestions of how I could implement this?
  5. They are. Believe me, I manually installed each of the different mods and I was very meticulous. The only thing I can think of is that Skyrim isn't picking up these textures for some reason. If that's the case I'm just going to have to do without nipples. Some of my balancing mods use BSAs and they take priority. Sad day. :(

  7. So no one has any ideas? Am I doomed to never see nipples in Skyrim?
  8. I wish that was my problem, but I did not install the HQ texture pack. Mainly because it does what my mods already accomplish. :(
  9. Here's an odd one, I'm running tons of texture mods, and everything is displaying fine, but for some reason just the textures for nude mods ( any of them, I've tried 4) are not showing up. The Meshes work fine, the body shapes change when I install them through NMM, but for whatever reason the textures don't display in game. I've tried making new games, manually installing the textures, and even resetting archive invalidation. Nothing seems to work at all. Any ideas?
  10. Only disagree with the Holy Water arrows in terms of what I'd like. I'm not sure that fits the universe well at all. Secondly, I'm not sure it would be possible to mod in the moss arrows, i.e. make certain areas more quiet than others. As for fire and water arrows, the bethesda crew was apparantly able to accomplish this, they mentioned it in the recent blog. They just haven't released it in game, so it's entirely possible. also, Gas arrows and blackjacks should be relatively simple. We'll see though.
  11. "way to turn off the camerashaking. This is the only thing keeping me from playing with this mod. The violent shaking whenever I walk or run is just too much for me, Been watching closely to see if/when this is fixed.
  12. Mr. Cooper, Good points, and some of that was on my mind even as I was writing. In most games most of the time, there is at least some justification for what we do. Not to be a hypocrite, I love mugging monsters for loot, or sniping my way through a shooter. I just think that going out of our way to do heinous things, and your examples were better than mine, is something that should give us pause. Thanks for your well thought reply. psyclone If someone released a mod to un-essential children I would download and install it. NOT because I feel the urge to go around killing children. Quite the opposite, I'd like to legitimately be able to DEFEND them. Right now if a kid gets caught in a gunfight with the npcs he or she is safe, unlike the adults, who are fair game and go down like cattle. If a kid is in REAL danger, I would be fighting twice as hard to defend them... and helping them would be a legitimate reward. Yes people abuse this sort of thing, but I think it's a lot more of an immersion breaker to see a kid take a shotgun round to the face from a raider and live. But it's just my stance, good points all around guys. EDIT!!! Try putting these in your .ini bEssentialTakeNoDamage=0 bForceReloadOnEssentialCharacterDeath=0 Apparently it allows you to kill essentials, can't test it, I'm on campus.
