I know I should probably put this on the MGE XE page and I did. I just wanted to post it up here as well since that page isn't getting a lot of hits and there are probably a lot of people who run that mod. Like the title says though, Im trying to run MGE XE on windows. Iv'e seen people saying that have it running on windows 10 but, with some small issues. I can't get it to run because of some DLL error regarding DirectX 9. I can not get DirectX 9 to install and I can't get the DX windows installer beause MS links it to an windows 10 upgrade site. Also if anyone has a permanent solution to changing regedit every time I would like to know about that as well. The only way I can get to the right resolution is regedit, launch and then change to a default resolution, which is extremely annoying lol.

I'm using the latest version of Convenient Horses and the horses are missing their manes. I'm guessing the author included the optional clipping patch for 3.5 in the latest version. Does anyone know of a patch to fix this or how to change it so their manes show?

Um you could try Animal Tweaks. Im not sure how much tougher it makes them though, since I used Requiem at the time of installing it.

Whats the best looking or highest def building and farmhouse interior texture mod. Im using Farmhouse and Villages Vanilla Based HD Textures at the moment. Does anyone have any suggestions for a more complete or better replacement?

Hey thanks for the suggestions anyways, I'll keep searching and I'll go through and try everything you said. Derp I need to edit that, you set your gpu in your skyrim.ini lol, not enb. Don't know what I was thinking. But that happens anyway after you run the vanilla launcher. Sorry I couldn't help out more.

Well unfortunately I'm not very good with ENB or how it works. I was trying to help clarify the issue and I was hoping the solution would be more obvious. I can only suggest three things. Try settings bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 in your skyrim prefs and try updating your windows service pack. Also if you haven't yet, make sure you set your graphics card in the enb.ini.

You have absolutely no mods installed? You're just trying to set up ENB?

Its probably alternate start. I know if causes problems with requiem if its not bellow the requiem esp. You could try moving alternate start live another life down to the bottom of your list. That's just a shot in the dark though. PS: Its a good idea to add spoiler tags to your load order lists.

What do you mean by reset the computer? Do you mean you reformatted it? Did you run the installer for real vision? Do you have the required data files and ini settings correct?

What mod is it? What object are you trying to change?

When I proc my list with Requiem it tells me everyone is immune to whatever spell I'm using. For instance ill use fire sparks on an npc. The message at the top left of the screen will say (npcs name) is immune to (spell name). I've only tried this with the default spells you get from investing the first point in destruction when using requiem. When I start requiem with no mods loaded, it works fine, except my characters don't start with a healing spell or the default flame spell. Does anyone know what mod is causing the problem? The mfg extra info window says they are skyrim.esm spells. I tried looking at this with TES5EDIT but, none of the races show any immunity. All the spells look as they should aside from unrelated conflicts, such as names. My load order is in the spoiler tags.

I've noticed that was missing from my load order this time around and it does seem to be working now. Thanks alot. The odd part us I'm using mod organizer and the mod and it's esp were unchecked. It had to be totally uninstalled to get rid of this problem.

Does anyone know of a mod that sets a difficulty for all the enemies in the game regardless of location? Requiem makes all bandits the same difficulty and all draugers the same difficulty ect.ect. but, does anyone know of a standalone mod that does this?
