Ship Building from Scratch in CK.

So I am trying to build a ship that I can use with the mod "Ship Vendor Framework"...problem is if I use a template of another ship like everyone keeps saying when I go in an build the ship I want It will not save because it says it is over the size limit. So I figured i would just build the ship from scratch in CK but I can't find any tutorial's or vids that shows how to do that. Can someone help me with this?

UPDATE: So I have almost eliminated all the stutter and freeze. I was running "A Forrest" and some Hi Res textures that I turned off. Went in game and although it is the old vanilla brown everything dead look almost all the stutter and freeze has gone.

None of that worked...tried it all by the book...still freezing. I can say it did actually help a bit I think at first...but...they it would freeze completely and I had to open task manager and shut it down from the desktop. Really sux and I totally don't wan't to roll back but looks like if I wanna play the freaking game I am going to have to. Like I said earlier...the sucker is smooth as glass vanilla...but don't wan't to play it vanilla either. I guess I just want to b&@*$ about it. LOL I just want to play the game with my mods. LOL

So I am trying in organize my left panel in MO2 with suggestion from a mod. Problem is some of the separators are pretty self explanatory but most are kind of obscure for me. I don't quite know what mods would go in some of the categories. Can someone please give a little more explanation what kind of mods would go where beside each category below. Any help would be appreciated! Often times mod authors do not categorize their mod so it is hard to know where it would go in this list. So has anyone heard a time frame as to when Bethesda is going to fix this issue? I think in reality it isn't a next gen issue but a mod community issue. I have about 4 hours on a brand new game straight vanilla loading from steam....absolutely smooth as glass with a constant 70 FPS. Absolutely no stuttering...screen freeze...FPS drops....NOTHING! Smooth as glass! Then I can load it up in MO2 and it is just so jacked up with stutter and freeze frame after about 5 minutes into it that it just pisses me off. So common sense would dictate that it has something to do with mods causing it. Everyone talking crap about Bethesda screwing up the game with next gen update but as I said...it is smooth as hell without mods. So do ya think Bethesda it going to put a lot of effort into figuring out what is causing the issue just for us modders? All I can find is everyone saying roll back...but why not try to figure out how to fix the modded game instead of rolling back. It is just so freaking frustrating trying to play with the frame freeze and stutter and everyone blaming bethesda...bethesda part runs smooth as hell....just my venting 2 cents worth.

Ok...I kept trying until I finally got everything working but I had to give her a fine cloths default outfit...can't use the armor I wanted to use or it won't work. I imported her NPC file but it still had the funky eyes. Plus the hair is more translucent but didn't do anything with the hair. Also instead of almost black hair she has a dark brownish hair. But at lease it is all working in all game loads...even new game test loads. It's just not working how I want it to with the armor. All weapons are there and her coin purse as well. At lease it's progress.....

That makes total sense as to what is going on with the hair but I am pretty sure I have all those files included. I thought I had everything sorted out and working again but I am back to square one now. I went in and did the edit to the esp file again this afternoon and copied the tint files over the mod and bam....same thing. No head at all...and no default outfit either. She has the weapons I changed but no default outfit nor no head and nude. Here is my steps to edit the esp... 1. Load CK 2. checkbox skyrim, Ks hairdo, armor esp, and my follower esp set to active 3. open AAA_follower(my follower) 4. go to inventory tab and set Default outfit to Armormyfolloweroutfit. It shows up in the box with all the armor parts and load on her body in preview screen. 5. Save then go to facegen tab...import her npc file. Try to export it with cntl+F4 (but nothing happens) no popup. 6. Save again and close ck 7. overwrite the 2 facetint files in the mod with correct files without the goofy eye paint. Load game into save that she is working fine in and she looks great. She has the new weapons I gave her in the edit. because I am using NFF with the old version of her I have her standard outfit the same as the new default outfit. I remove the standard outfit in NFF and force her default outfit and nothing. She is nude everything else is fine. 8. I create a new game...create Test dude and go to the inn where she is and she is nude with no head at all. That is so strange. And I tried several "test dudes" lol and all the same thing...flipping soooo frustrating. What am I doing wrong? Last night it wasn't saving anything in the CK. It was in essence a blank esp and I am sure that is why the wasn't showing up at all.

Hi Scorrp10...so you were correct it was an overwrite on the tint masks. I replaced them and all was well. Think i figured out why the follower ghosted me too. Somehow CK was saving the esp but not the info in it. So in essence it was a blank esp. I am using the new CK 1.6 so don't know what was going on with that. It did however make a backup of the original esp so I was able to recover it. What was really strange is when I uninstalled the mod and reinstalled it from the original mod it still wasn't showing up in game. After I put the backup esp back in the mix and replaced the face tint files it all is working now. But while I have your attention, I think I am missing the tri files for the hair. I get a message say so and also from certain angles her hair looks kind of transparent. It's like you can see her scalp. I have to figure out where the tri files are put and link them to it I guess. All her hair files are in AAA_Hair in CK. Do the tri files go there and link to the folder or do they go somewhere else? Thanks for your interest and help in my issue.

Well this is really a bummer now....I uninstalled the mod....reninstalled the mod and now she is nowhere to be found....tried a new playthrough...went to where she is suppose to be....nowhere to be found....tried like 3 new games...and nowhere. This is so jacked up. Any ideas?

OOOPPS...well that didn't work...now she has no head at all! LMAO Seems I need to flipping start all over now. Reinstall the mod first I guess.

Yes I created her in Racemenu....and yep I think i have all the files. So did it overwrite the files in the mod or somewhere in the game directory? If in the mod then if I just copy over the files with the tint masks and stuff in it then it should work right or will I have to basically redo the mod itself?

Hi all...I am totally baffled! Help needed. So I created a stand alone follower some time ago. I decided I wanted to change the default outfit, I load it up in CK and made the outfit changes and when I loaded the game to see if the outfit changed her face was jacked up. I have attached a picture of before and after. The original was yesterday and the jacked up one is today after the changes. Can someone tell me what the heck caused this...really pissed me off and even copied over the ESP in the mod with the original from yesterday but it didn't work. Still a jacked up face texture.

Ok so this is so strange....I had about 40+ hours in a playthrough with the Next Gen Update. I removed all mod that were effected by the update. I can run the vanilla game out of Steam smooth as glass. As I said I have 40+ hrs on a playthrough loading from MO2 then all of a sudden I start CTD when I run. I couldn't figure out why...I start a new playthrough and disabled ALL mods in MO2, I load the game from MO2 via the FO4 executable in steam directory. Start came get to the part when you run out the door in the beginning running to the bunker and get to the bridge and CTD every time. With absolutely no mods running. I can go load straight from steam and run from one side of the map to the other with 60 FPS with no issues what so ever. Anyone else having this issue? I have searched hi and low for this issue with no joy.

I can't say what the issue is but I have had the same issue i noticed in a couple caves. Not the blue square but missing textures on the torches...they appear just blue. The meshes are ok but the textures are missing. Most likely it is the paths in the nif on the torches and the dds "texture" files are fouled up somehow.
