So I recently made a fresh start with a fresh files and I've now reinstalled everything I want. I've used LOOT to order my mods however I keep CTD. Am I missing a patch? Do I have something wrong somewhere? I can't see where I am going wrong. At first the game loaded and then I played for a bit and it CTD when I died. I then went to reload it but CTD straight away. I've tried ticking and un-ticking various things but nothing works! Hi there, I want to use the Optimized Vanilla Textures however I've already installed texture replacements. If I was to install the optimized textures will I have to reinstall all the other textures? On the mod page it says that you can use replacements as well but I want to know if I can install this without having to reinstall the texture replacements. Thank you!

Half of me wants to give up and stick with NMM lol. Yeah I saw that last night. I tried deleting the FOMOD folder but WinRAR/ZIP wouldn't let me, apart from that the post didn't help me a hell of a lot. I think if I balls up my game again then I'll use MO and try installing SkyUI manually. Do you do anything other than just install the mods? Anything to improve game performance? I mean my PC is pretty good but laggy lately and I just want all the mods I love with as little lag as possible!

Thanks haha, just following the guide! Yeah I use Alt Start for my proper game. I'm the type of person to restart a game a million times until I'm happy and the beginning was becoming rather boring. I can try, I don't think I've ever given manual install a go (unless I know where it's definately going!). I'm not even sure how to do it :O Because I'm too eager to play my game again I had begun to redownload and reinstall mods via NMM, but I'm happy to restart and begin at the start of the guide again if needed. But I have been wondering if it's okay to use both MO and NMM? Which do you prefer personally? I like MO however it seems like there's a lot to get used to but it also seems like it can benefit my games performance. NMM is great because it's easy to install and uninstall mods, but that's all really.

I've been playing and using mods for a while but I went straight to the NMM because it seemed easiest! I want to use more mods and I want to install them properly for a more stable game so I followed the guide. Yep, I've got SKSE and I started via Steam (played until completed the first quest. Unbound something? Using that as my clean save). That's the LOOT I have at the moment and linked it to MO as the guide suggested.

Basically I want to install the mods in an order I like, for example the Unofficial Patches, SkyUI, SkyRE, SMIM, texture replacements etc etc then use LOOT (ran through MO) to order it properly. I just choose to install the mods in this order so I don't end up overwriting textures I don't want to overwrite

I've been using the Modding Beginners Guide so I can prevent my game from exploding every now and again. I get to the "Install a Mod" part of the tutorial and instead of installing something I don't need or what I wanted to install SkyUI. Now for some reason I get access denied errors along with errorcode 5. Does anybody have a solution? I posted on the original post but I've had no reply as of yet. Thank you Original Post - I was really liking this method until I got to the part where I had to install a mod. Instead of installing something I didn't want I opted for SkyUI. I kept getting an error message about some temp file and access denied then an installation error code 5 pop up. Is there a way I can fix this? I don't really want to have to go back to NMM because I like nice clean files but I can't install more folders without installing this one first (through choice... I want things installed in an order I like)

I've been having a few problems with my game that I just hadn't managed to fix. I have Complete Crafting Overhaul Redone installed as well as SkyRe and I'm having trouble fixing my MineOre script. I understand there is a fix however when I use it I CTD. here is my load order - http://i.imgur.com/ARItIZp.png linked because it's a HUGE picture. I also have a few other problems such as - Amour texture is missing and a bodymod causing randomly massive boobies with nipples poking through the clothes - a tad disturbing when you're trying to talk to them.

I've ovbiously ballsed something up along the way but a few days ago NMM uninstalled all of my mods on start up and I had to reinstall them all again - fine, a bit of a pain in the bum but I got it done and started playing. However one of my favourite mods isn't showing in the Mod Config Menu in game - the Convenient Horses menu. I've tried exiting, uninstalling, opening game and saving without it installed, exiting game and reinstalling the mod and reopening game (clean save, I guess?) but it still isn't there. The in game installation pop ups come up and all seems to install well but it's just not showing up in the Mod Config Menu and it's kinda annoying because I'm always overencumbered and losing my follower cos they're not spawning horses :P Any help would be amaaazing!

I'm having a bit of trouble installing the Performance and Realistic ENB mod. I'm sure I'm doing it correctly but when I go to load the game it says that the resolution isn't supported and when I go into my options menu via Steam I have no resolution options - the drop down menu is empty. I've been trying to use the "More Colour" option and I've been following the installation instructions. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong and I was wondering if anybody else came across this problem. I never had this trouble with the RealVision ENB and if I can't solve this issue I may go back to that one but PaR ENB is just so pretty. I'm pretty new to using the mods and SR mod talk so be gentle :wink:
