  1. Question, since when are stability and performance mods considered to be "gamebreaking"? Did you even read what mods I have utilized in order to make this game a tad bit bearable? It's like you're assuming that I downloaded FOOK and FWE together and wondering why everything is broken. I have followed countless guides already, ever since I downloaded this game a year ago on how to make it stable with MODS and now you're coming here, just condescending me about why I did it all to myself and how modders are pretty much the scum of the earth or something. You don't realize that there is a REASON why there are youtube videos, Steam posts, Nexus discussions, all talking about fixing up the game so that it doesn't commit suicide every two minutes. I never even posted my mod/load order and you're still angry. When I ran this game on Windows 10, it ran fine, but on WIndows 7 I got this .NET framework issue and the crashes. Oh, but let me guess, you'll just tell me to switch back to WIndows 10, since you're so tunnel visioned to think of anything else. I don't even run this game on a next gen machine, I'm using an ancient computer from like 2011 with an Nvidia GTX 960. To further nail in my point, I am running New Vegas with about 200 mods, and I haven't experienced any crashes whatsoever, and I have evidence to prove that my games can be stable with mods, and because of mods. Next time stop telling people that it's all their fault when they're clearly saying what steps they took to trying and fix the game, so that other people don't tell them to do the things which they already have done.
  2. I have recently redownloaded FO3 and I have unsurprisingly experienced problems. I am using the Unofficial Patch, did the ini tweaks, have 4GB patch, Mod Limit Fix, Tick Fix, Memory Fix and NVAC. IStewie's Tweaks are not activated for some reason but that is besides the point. After about 15 - 20 seconds the game gets ferocious lag spikes, like 2 - 3 FPS and after some more seconds, everything twitches to white, then to black, and then the game crashes. I tried with and without ENB but that does not change anything. Anybody have any leads? Thanks. Sidenote: My only hypothesis is that it's .NET framework 3.0 because when I installed FO3 it told me that there was an error with .NET Framework 3.0 or something like that and that I need to go to the control panel and go to the "turn windows features on or off" menu. I run on Windows 7.
  3. I'm not quite sure honestly, my father gave me his old computer which could still run Windows 7 as modern gaming PCs will probably not work with it. My video card is Nvidia GTX 960 and I'm not being offered to update my drivers.
  4. I honestly don't understand why it doesn't work on Windows 7 when it worked on Windows 10. You would think that for a game released in 2006 it would actually work better on an OS released 3 years later. Still, if you have any more ideas on how to fix stuff, I'm still here.
  5. I have recently reinstalled FO3 onto a new computer and while it was downloading, it told me something about .NET Framework 3.0 and how there was some error associated with it and that I must go into control panel and go into the "disable or enable windows features" menu. One other curious thing that I have noticed is that when I had opened the FO3 launcher, it did not generate an .ini file in Documents. I had manually put in my own one, along with falloutprefs.ini but whenever I load FOSE through MO2, it opens the FO3 launcher first, and then a small black window appears at the top left along with the ENB text (yes I use ENB). This evidently shows that the game is loaded in a small black box for some reason? I don't know what's wrong with my .NET framework, or if the launcher launching itself up when the game executable itself was supposed to be loaded is also part of the problem. tl;dr .NET framework 3.0 machine broke + fallout launcher launching instead of fallout.exe/fose_loader.exe
  6. Did your shadows moved as you moved? You may need to reinstall your shaders, speaking from experience.
  7. I would like to use ENBoost, but there are two issues. First, it's still a ORL problem. Second, it's incompatible with ENB.
  8. Here is my script: https://pastebin.com/AUT3ZhXH I tried running as admin, downloading GECK Extender (which did not even seem to activate for some reason). I already had xNVSE, JIP LN NVSE and JohnyGuitar. I am on Windows 7. Thanks.
  9. Hi, recently I have downgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 7 and have reinstalled all of my games, including Oblivion. I have the most recent updates, SP1, have steam in disk D:, installed the Unofficial Patch, made Oblivion 4GB aware, downloaded xNVSE, download Mod Limit Fixer, Oblivion Tick Fix, Engine Bug Fixes, NVAC, MoreHeap, Oblivion Display Tweaks and did the ini tweaks (bUseThreaded AI=1 and iNumHWThreads=2). I have mostly downloaded mods from Bevilex's modlist and here is what I have so far: modlist - https://pastebin.com/HX88ssN4 plugin list - https://pastebin.com/w2K1w2RF. The problem is, whenever I launch Oblivion it crashes, and it tells me that somehow OblivionReloaded.dll is the culprit. Here is what my MessageLogger says: https://pastebin.com/pWDMnEuh. Of course, removing it fixes the game but I don't know why this is happening, as everything worked before in Windows 10 and I would just like to find a solution as to how to make it work. Note: I use Simple ENB
  10. This whole exercise is a hunch on my part too. The only problem I encountered with Alluring was icons for player created potions (if I remember correctly) and extracting them from the BSA fixed that. It didn't make sense back then that the game wouldn't load them from the BSA same as this is probably a wild goose chase as well as this time it's meshes (but I wasn't the only one with the problem ... look through the Alluring mod comments). I often find that even wrong theories can help in looking at things from a different direction, and then all of a sudden things look different and the root of the problem is seen. Hey, I'm back. Sorry for the late reply, I was busy with stuff. Anyways, your method worked! The wines don't have a texture but I think I know what to do in this situation. I don't know why this has happened, this is the only time something like this had happened but I am still pleased that everything worked out in the end
  11. No. I thought it was COBL but after uninstalling it, it became apparent that it was not it. I do have a BSA Browser, can I try and extract the files from the BSA and put them somewhere else in the data folder? They need to be in exactly the same folder structure you see in BSA Unpacker. I'd do all the unpacking outside of your game folders (so either copy the BSAs from your game folder to folders elsewhere or use your extracted download if you're like me and have stuff like that laying around). The potion bottles shouldn't need doing as they have a custom folder structure, so without the ESP the game wouldn't even acknowledge their existence. Sorry, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Do I have to unpack all of the bsa files that I have in data or something?

  13. I don't know why, or how but all of the wines and drinks in my game have missing meshes. I have about two hundred mods which all affect everything but those items and I know for a fact that it's not my mods since using the FormID Finder it told me that the .nif and .dds files of the wines are implemented by Oblivion.esm and that those files are missing. I have verified file integrity but yet it still didn't work. Any leads? Thanks. Load Order: https://pastebin.com/BYZMqa19
