  1. djjohnjarvis, After creating the NPC, I followed the instructions and performed a drag and drop of the newly created actor to the location in the game of my choice (The Winking Skeever in Solitude). I saved esp plugin in the data directory. Upon launching Skyrim I made sure the plugin data file was selected to run. I do not think I am missing anything, correct? Are there any console commands that I can execute in game to check the plugin???
  2. My custom created NPC is not appearing in my game at all. Upon creating my NPC I launch the Creation Kit, go to File-Data and I am presented with all of the esm/esp files. I have multiple master/plugin files applied to my version of Skyrim (i.e. Hearthfire, Dragonborn, etc.). The Creation Kit instructions for creating an NPC say to only select the Skyrim.esm file and it does not provide guidance for people using multiple master files. Do I need to select multiple master files prior to creating my NPC? What am I doing wrong? Thanks
  3. I am new to mod creation. I thought a simple starting point would be to create my own NPC. I have created an NPC using the Creation Kit. It seems fairly simple. I place the NPC into the appropriate cell and launch the game. However, when I go into the game the NPC that I created does not appear. The instructions for creating an NPC does not appear to provide guidance for individuals who are using multiple mods, and the instructions seemed to be geared towards people who are playing vanilla Skyrim only. At the beginning stage of creating my NPC, I first launch the Creation Kit, I go to File-Data and I am presented with all the esm/esp files. The instructions say to only select the Skyrim.esm when you want to create an NPC. However, I have 10 different master files (i.e. HearthFire, Dragonborn, etc.). Do I need to select multiple master files, instead of just Skyrim.esm? I have only been selecting the Skyrim.esm and I am wondering if this is the root cause of my problem. I apologize in advance if someone has already covered this topic. I searched through past threads in the forum and no one appears to have asked a similar question. Thanks for your advice in advance.
