With the Legendary collection remaster coming out in less than two months, it is difficult to know if mods are even possible. The modding community seems to find a way. My favorite mods in the originals I admit, were mostly cosmetic for making a better looking Shephard. I wasn't a fan of the hair choices and it seemed difficult to make a character you were proud of. It will be interesting to see if a Nexus mods page pops up near release. the game isn't even released yeat and I'm already hoping for mods.

I have previously been playing Fallout 4 fine with no issues. I have the latest Script Extender (updated yesterday) but after the Steam update a couple days ago, the game freezes on save load (when the screen goes black just before load finishes). I have tried a few different saves, with the same result. I am running roughly 100 mods. I have not tried disabling mods yet, which is my next step. Has anyone found mods which have been causing this issue, or disabling fixes it?

It would be nice to have character presets that are less.....fugly. I was able to make Ryder decent, but quite disappointed with the creator.

So I'm downloading the Origin trial version now. I haven't started yet, but based on forum response the character creation is awful. I'm sure facemorph will be in high demand. I was hoping for something better then DA:I, but everyone is saying its a few steps backwards.
