  1. Is it possible to use different animations for the same weapon depending on perks and/or skill level? I'm thinking of trying to use this and looking for alternate animations to make the character skill progression visible on the animations, so I'd like to know if it is even possible, and how hard it would be.
  2. Oh, and for the gore part of fatalities, I've seen a mod review on youtube about a mutilation mod, that might interest you.
  3. I don't think it should be that complicated(as a vague concept of how, I don't know how to script). Make the spells you learn(or some of them, like non-concentration destruction, at least from vanilla and DLCs) also give you a lesser power, that costs as much magicka as the spell itself, which makes your next phisical hit apply, besides the normal damage, the effect of the spell(even AOE), be it with an arrow, bolt, one handed swing, shield bash, or two-handed swing(maybe even unarmed, but I think that would be even harder). That way you can apply magic to phisical attacks even with both hands occupied. But take note that for melee it would be best to, if possible, make a different area shape(cone instead of radius, for example). The script could be activated retroactively by completing a quest to learn "the art of spell binding" or something like that. The powers could also be to prepare other unrealistic uses of weapons, like multi-arrow, arrow rain, charge, teleporting behind the target and backstabbing, flying slashes, slamming the ground with your warhammer to stun or knockback enemies, etc.
  4. Actually I was thinking of a very slight increase, so that you actually see some difference with 10 or 20 skill levels, not depending on specific race or status. I think that, at least for maces and warhamers, it would be lore friendly(Mace Ettiquete), but would make sense for all the others as well.
  5. Maybe it could be a "dragon priest"(base image) with an army of undead that you have to defeat. But I think going to Sovngarde and then talking to Shor or Tsun to get a new chance after a test would be better. Specially since there are a lot of NPCs that appear there after quests that you might not have completed before killing Alduin.
  6. If there is already a request for this, pelase tell me so I can remove the post. I have looked at all the mods for the keyword "speed" at the Nexus files(so far), most were for movement speed, and there were only a few for attack speed, one or two needing perks, and none with the speed rising as you level the skill. I think that it would be logical that being more skilled with a weapon would make you balance it better and waste less movement, so it would allow you to strike again, or block, sooner after each attack. BUT I don't know how that could be done. Maybe adding to the formula a percentage rise in attack speed depending on level(I know nothing, or close to it, about modding, so I don't know if it's possible) I never found a mod that did this, but maybe there are(or meybe they are impossible). In either case, tell me if this request was not necessary(preferably with the URL or name of a mod that does it) or not possible(so that I stop looking for something that will never come). Thanks to everybody who took the time to read my ranting, and for any information you give me, or work you do on the idea.
  7. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29210 I think this might go in the way you pictured, although it requires dragonborn DLC. I actually wanted to show you a mod I saw once in the nexus that had special moves, including arrow rains for bows and a move that threw the oponent up and hit him with lightning for one-handed swords, but I exhausted all the keywords I could think of and still couldn't find it. Good luck, gt5t!
