Well, I made this custom cat race. I want this race to be recognized as Khajiit, for I see it as just another Khajiit race. Yet I do not want to change the vanilla Khajiit race, just the game in general react to my custom race as if it was the vanilla Khajiit. Just like at the start of the game, where that dark elf mocks you specifically depending on your race, for example. With a custom race he will just ask what the heck you are, yet if I chose the vanilla Khajiit race, he would mock me specifically as a Khajiit. And that's what I want for my custom race and with every dialog/NPC reaction in the game. So, to get this, would I have to go through all dialog scripts or is there a easier way to get this? If you're using OBSE, you can make NPCs treat your cuatom race as any vanilla race with OBSE function 'SetRaceAlias'.
SetRaceAlias (your race) (any vanilla race)
IIRC, XEO uses 'SetRaceAlias' to make duplicates races to be recognized as original stock races. Thanks a lot! I'll try to make it work!
