  1. I've read some reports that ENBoost can sometimes do more harm than good. Removing it didn't solve my issue so i'm still trying to see if anything works. My only guess is that my hardware and New Vegas just aren't mixing well together. I wouldn't be surprised as the games engine is ancient.
  2. Windows 10 has a stupid 4GB VRAM limit on all DirectX 9 applications. The creator's update fixes that.
  3. I removed ENBoost and the problem still exists so I don't think ENBoost is the issue. The only thing I can think of is some software incompatibility that limits the use of my GPU or CPU. I guess I'll have to wait until the Creator's Update releases.
  4. vramsizetest reports 4064MB and it's set in my enblocal.ini In game it reports 4064MB I play at 1920 x 1080
  5. When I uninstall the texture packs the stuttering goes away. I switched from the High Res version to the Medium Res on NMC's and POCO Bueno but the stuttering is still there. Not as bad as the High Res but still very noticeable. Autosave is disabled. I set the Resolution to 720p but that didn't help either. I used BethINI and no results from that either... I have no idea what's going on.
  6. If I take into account other processes running it still doesn't make a difference. I'm no where near hitting any limits on my CPU or GPU. Also forgot to mention I'm using ENBoost. I guess it must be a DX9 issue.
  7. New Vegas only uses 1Gb of Memory and 25% of my CPU after playing for 30 min at most with just the texture mods installed.
  8. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that. I am using the 4GB Patcher by RoyBatterian https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/62552/?
  9. I'm having a situation with stuttering in Fallout New Vegas. After I install the big texture mods like NMC's and OJO bueno, every time I fast travel, exit from indoor to outdoor (after the cell had enough time to unload), or enter a new grid where the LODs have to load, I get huge macro stutter. I'll do a 360 turn in game after said event and it can pause for up to a second or two. I've tried absolutely everything... -New Vegas Stutter Remover is installed and I've tweaked settings (turned some things on and off and nothing changed) -Different INI configs and I've used BethINI tweaks (Usually has to do with the threaded stuff and unloading cells) -Rolled back drivers/updated them (as far back as NVIDIA 368.xx drivers and still nothing) -Uninstalled and re-installed the game (I even reset my entire computer and that didn't help) -Using YUP unofficial patch, NVAC, cleaned masters, etc. (Again, didn't help) -No viruses or malware on my PC -I'm using Mod Organizer -NVSE and memory patch for it is installed -EDIT: I am using the most up to date 4GB Patcher -EDIT: I am using ENBoost Now one thing that sort of alleviated the issue was removing the overclock on my CPU from 4.2Ghz to 3.5Ghz (stock). I'm not exactly sure why. Someone told me that Bethesda games don't react well to OC's, but I've seen plenty of people who don't have this issue. Even at stock I still get enough stuttering to make the game nearly unplayable. I don't want to get rid of my OC as it boosts performance in every other game. My specs are... i5-6600k at 4.2GHz 1.3V 16GB DDR4 at 3000Mhz GTX 1070 8GB Samsung 850 EVO 500GB Of course when I remove all my texture mods the stuttering stops. But it makes no sense as my PC is more than enough to handle a fully modded New Vegas. I'm absolutely clueless as to what the issue is. It might be some sort of incompatibility with my graphics drivers or CPU. On my old PC (FX-8350, 8GG DDR3, GTX 970 3.5GB) this wasn't an issue at all. If anyone could help at all that'd be awesome. I'm trying to get my modlist set up and I refuse to play the game with the vanilla textures (yeah I'm that kind of guy).
