  1. I've read trough 40ish pages till i stopped (just way too much to read till page 168 as it is now) but i wonder if anyone thought about how it will affect games yet to come? Imagine a game like Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim/Fallout (simply because THOSE are the most modded games in History from my POV) and try to remember what it was like playing the games when they released without mods at all. They were all good but they had their flaws. Probably because developing a Game takes a long time and Dev's can not fix everything or even add all the neat little things they had in mind (Horse Armor DLC.... heh sorry had to bring this up =) ) till the set Release date. That's why patches exist and future DLC's are beeing released and of course the Community of said games come up with their own ideas wich are missing in the Game and the Dev's did not include it or didn't wanted it to be included and adding them via MODs. This might be the old way games are beeing developed?! I mean let's face it! Those Companies want to do 2 things. 1. Bring us a stunning and awesome game. 2. Make some profit. We could debate now that they want to do more than just those 2 things but thats rather nit picking because it will always lead to those 2 major topics. So as soon as i read the news the only thought wich crossed my mind was: "What will the "next moddable" game look like?" Just as an exampIe; The next Elder Scrolls Title will be moddable again (why not?) but how will it effect the proccess of developing the game right now? Will they simply "forget" to add tiny little things so they can throw out "Mods/UGC's" for cheap and get rid of DLC's in General or are they intentionally making things user unfriendly? "Oh yeah there is no 2 Handed Staff but you can download a mod wich adds this for just 0,50€/$" "Ew horrible HUD for this game, let's check out the Workshop.... Great a better looking HUD for just 0,25€/$" (didn't want to exaggerate here) How could we distinguish between MODs wich are made for the sole purpose of making money and MODs wich are needed to make the Game not missing "important" features from our POV? (I mean everyones POV what is needed is different but we could agree on what is important in various games and clearly not included or forgotten or translated wrong etc.) Right now i don't think the next Game will be like that but what about the future Games from different developers or indie games in particular wich are flooding Steam since a while and some trying to ripoff us Customers? PS: Sorry for any misspelling, English isnt my main language but i tried my best =)
  2. Getting the nexusmods.exe for Nevada Skies Main file from downloading manually via ; London UK1+2; Salt Lake 1,2 ; Seattle; Dallas,Amsterdam all leading to f6.nexusmods.com server.
  3. Okay i just got home so ill instantly try it out and err compressor tool? =O dont think i used something like that..... Edit1: Well i just looked into that folder and yea theres no Trees folder but instead a Rock folder and i remember installing "Benjamin318s RRM" thingy but anyways i renamed the whole landscape folder tried it; crash. Turned the mod off same outcome. But it was worth a try at least also i'm not sure if its the tree stomp rather something else wich i cannot figure out. I had a CTD earlier as soon as you first "touch" Alduin when he lands on the Wall and the Guard calls out to you "stick to the walls" and if i would stand to close it created a CTD but if i stood far away it did not crash. Right after exiting the "Tutorial Cave" Alduin flys past you in the sky towards Bleak Falls there is this sort of earthshake as he passes you wich led to another CTD. I always could reproduce that error. I thought the culprit there was Automatic Variants because as soon as i turned it off this kind of error did not happen again but now i am not so sure about it anymore. =D EDIT2: Okay i found the "culprit" even tho its not really that bad..... i really thought the whole friggin day about it and after i read what you suggested i thought why cant it be something completely different so well it was pure luck that my first mod i turned off in my loadorder So as you see in the Spoiler i figured it out thanks to your small push into the right direction. The only problem i still have is that im not so sure about Automatic Variants if the error came from ELFX + RLO or if it was a conflict of all? Might need some more testing...... tomorrow or so now im gonna play some Skyrim since i sat there from 11pm till 4 am trying to figure out what was causing that stupid CTD without beeing able to get some "Steam" off heh :P
  4. Hello well im getting CTD's after exiting "Bleak Falls" and making my way back to Riverwood it was a cleansave and then i added all my mods. Wich are I just went out of Bleak Hills and went back to Riverwood where i traveld along the riverside and close to Riverwood i passed a specific tree stomp and after passing it i always get a ctd. I did repeat it about 5 times and everytime my papyrus.log looks like this Ive got no clue at all =D I started a New Game and had no crashes till that point. PS: The exact location of that tree if it helps is here

  6. Yeah well as the Title says im getting random CTD's and since i dont know what's causing it or how to understand the Error log i thought ill try to look for help here instead =) Ingame i am close to Solitude and just passed the Statue of Meridia (just if it is of some importance) riding on "Convenient Horse 4.6 with SkyRe (non dawnguard version) and a couple of other mods wich did not cause any problems during my 33h play with my new char as of yet. So well i did not posted all of the Papyrus log only the bits and parts where you see the CTD happening. If you need more Information or Load order or what mod's i do use just tell me i will edit this post then. ============================================[Frostfall: Warning Start]============================================ [03/11/2013 - 11:20:21AM] [03/11/2013 - 11:20:21AM] Frostfall compatibility check complete.
