Hi. I received a new monitor basically, the native resolution of it is 1680x1050. Before acquiring the monitor, I would play on something lower than 1280x1024, that's as much as I can remember. I've had some trouble trying to change it to a higher resolution but nothing worked for some reason, but anyways, that's not the topic. Once I got the new monitor, my resolution [probably automatically] changed to 1280x1024. Also not the topic, just might be worth knowing. My problem is that, to launch Skyrim, I have to turn down my monitors resolution to 1280x1024 or it will show me: http://puu.sh/jRxeg/e5973cf2ba.png I CANNOT PLAY ON ANY OTHER RESOLUTION UNLESS IT'S 1280x1024 I've tried fooling around with the resolutions and aspect ratio through the launcher, skyrimprefs.ini file etc., but nothing works. I simply want to play on 1680x1050 and I believe that it's possible, I've seen videos with that resolution but I'm not sure if any mods or 3rd party software was used. What can I do to be able to play on the highest native res, guys? It's really annoying having to lower your res everytime I want to play it, and low res on a high res monitor is really annoying because I play other games, too. I'm running the game through the SKSE launcher shortcut. GTS 450 gpu, latest drivers. No matter if I selected windowed mode or 'show all resolutions' on the launcher, nothing works, have to set my monitors res to 1280x1024 just to launch the game on the same res.
