  1. Hi there. I just re-downloaded my Sims 3 after so many years and I find that nothing is installing into my Sims 3. To begin, I downloaded the game and all my expansions packs, having to clear the cache on my EA launcher to do so but they're all installed to D drive. One, I cannot get any of my store content to install. Either though the game launcher, the in-game downloader or the website I can get it to 'download' but when I try to install it, it SAYS it is installed but doesn't show up and is uninstalled when I restart the game. When I look on-line I see several people having the same problem, but NO solutions. Now I know none of you would put up with this kind of shite, so what did the rest of you do?
  2. I know this is a big ask, but now that we're in space we need a Starship Titanic as a tribute to Douglas Adams. As a refresher, Douglas Adams is the author of Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy and several other titles including a video game called Starship Titanic (https://store.steampowered.com/app/467290/Starship_Titanic/) with a supplementary book. I don't know how to program and I'm not sure how to even plan for something like this. This is just on my wish list. Thank you for your time and consideration.
  3. What we are in need of is a set of plates, end & sides, that PREVENT two habitats from connecting. It would help ship design if we can apply those plates in-between hab unit connections that we DON'T want a connection to at that position.
  4. The theft system hasn't been updated since before Skyrim and is prone to the most memes because of it. Their latest "solution" was to simply place a trigger onto holding the object, making idle placement of a miscellaneous item suddenly a capital offence. I submit the following video as evidence: https://youtu.be/bQ5Ayjrchb4?si=b6MHe_MNWVJXx473 (All thanks and credit to Salmagros for the post) We need to set up a system that takes into account (a) what was stolen and it's value, (b) who it was stolen from, and © in the case where the item was "picked up" as in the above video and how far it was moved from it's original location. Picking the pillow up and placing it on the nearby table/furniture/trashcan should not cause an issue, pocketing it or walking it down the corridor should. I know this is asking a lot, but it's outrageous that the theft system has also been a complete meme for so long. Thank you for your consideration.
  5. The mod in question is Vault 1080, but this has happened with a few other mods. Essentially I went through the mod (Not bad for a "Hold my beer" mod) and then left to do other things. Far later on, two to three in-game months later, I returned to the area and found the original cell and the mod merged together making the area unplayable. What is this called, and what kind of solution should I be looking for?
  6. Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time to face the facts about Creation Club and it's inclusion in upcoming mods. As we have just been demonstrated with Skyrim we have to accept that while some items may not be story canon, they will all eventually be part of the next Fallout 4 release. To that end, I would like to suggest the creation of a new Mod Category devoted to Creation Club DLCs. Thank you for your time.
  7. What I want to do is remake Easy City Downs on the NV racetrack, probably using sentry bots. What I'm hoping for is simply a set of markers (about six to eight) that a character will run/jog to in order, when reaching the last marker that will then run/jog to the first. The markers will either have to be allowed to have multiple runners but I wouldn't need any starting or stopping animations as I intend them to be robots as mentioned. Essentially, Easy City Downs, robot control would be extra but not required. :-) Thank you once again for all your efforts.
  8. No, sandbox mods do not help. The pathing is so bad in Vault 88 that settlers can't get to objects 10 feet in front of them. And it's not just settlers. Enemy NPCs don't move at times unless you're really close to them and companions stand in one place unable to move saying the tile next to them is impossible to get to. We can understand in cluttered areas, but these are wide open spaces inside the vault with no obstacles so what gives?
  9. In the Creation Club bundle Settlement Defense we got this nice little target range that idle settlers would walk up to and use. The issue is that when a settler uses the range, the range resets the settler's inventory. I realize that this was probably done to ensure said NPCs would actually have a ranged weapon to use as some NPCs don't. This however has the (amusing) side effect of disarming pre-armed/armored settlers. For example, my scavenging soldier wearing metal armor and carrying a flame-thrower is now naked carrying a pipe pistol at the range. Go figure. Anyways, as this is supposed to be an idea-to-do list, I'd thought I'd throw this out as I still can't make heads or tales of the Creation Kit yet. Thanks you again for all your endeavors. :-)
  10. Not only at the end of the DLC. That area has been locked of to me and all I've done is bring Ada back to Greygarden. That being said I am getting the requite ambushes, do I definitely know the dlc is in effect.
  11. Having the same issue, and dogmeat has clipped into the ground as well. I can wait for him to return to Red Rocket, but when I then approach the cell, he jumps back to that same hill, unable to get to. Tried teleporting him, same deal across the map, same hill. Wondering what the heal Dogmeat quest code is, then I can force end it and see what happens.
