  1. I am working on a Trailer Park mod and am in need of assistance. In my Trailer park i want to have some "comic-relief" so i have put in a few of the stereotypical american white trash items such as the engine block on the coffee table surrounded by beer cans and tools and some more obscure items such as a shopping cart grill and a trash can table, however I am in need of a Fat woman. Yes you heard that righ i am in need of a big and burly woman to join my beer belly'd chap (I made a beer belly male body, so that is taken care of ;) ) but i tried to alter the female body in order to get the look i wanted and came up with two versions one just looked like a warped version of the original, and the other was way out of proportions >.< I saw a very close to my idea body mod in Oblivion called the AGHGEC (sp?) yet that too didn't meet my wants either, what i am looking for is something along these lines or this (minus the animation ;D) I am not talking BBW or slightly chunky I need Orca if possible. Also another thing that i would very much like to have for her would be a "Curlers" hairstyle, again i tried to do it myself but came out looking like an Aliens Indian headdress 0.o for some examples of what i mean i included some links below Example 1 Example 2 Example 3 Example 4 If anyone can do either or both you will earn My Respect (I know from experience they are not easy >.<), A kudos (if i haven't already given you one), An IOU for anything i can actually do (see my mods for things i am capable of), a spot on the credits list of the upcoming Trailer Park High Rise Mod, and most importantly my undying thanks.
  2. hmm i have never used the GECK tutorial for creating a new vendor before so i cannot help you there but i can give you a link to the tutorial i used by Jaysus it is for fallout 3 but the same principal applies.
  3. did you alter the eye mesh or textures in anyway? I know I had this problem a lot when i was doing the new textures for the Eyescapes mod until i got tired of it and made a template for them >.<
  4. In all honesty i was and am not trying to "pick a fight" with anyone, I am just tired of people saying that this site is knowingly (or even unknowingly) allowing illegal content and turning a blind eye (which is what i was reading in his post, my apologies for that) However regardless of how much he has done for the site in that matter i cannot agree with his statement about how valuable or popular a modder is as a basis of which "battles to fight" I don't care who it is, if they are in fact knowingly ripping content I say get rid of them (which in all fairness this site does a great deal of, which can be seen in the Banned/Strikes posts) which as you stated can be extremely difficult to determine. I myself keep my games very limited due to the fact that i really don't like a great deal of the games out there, so I myself in the area of confirming or dismissing a person on ground of piracy am a poor "role model". However I have been accused of such behavior in the past (and acquitted of the accusation) is why i keep an Image of every permission i get for defensive measures against such accusations. Greywaste I offer you my apologizes for the "attack" I misread your meaning and am deeply sorry for that. Although i don't agree with some of your grounds, i do wish to offer my thanks in your part in helping weed out some of the reprobates that seem to plague us. All i want is to be able to have a place I can share the stuff that i enjoy doing with others with as minimal worry about the idiotic portion of society trying to ruin it (I am not so naive to think that there is a total escape from such people)
  5. well in regards to your 2nd point you yourself said um how do you know it is illegal if you didnt actually open the files themselves to see? 0.o Against your 3rd point where you said if you can't provide the proof then how to you know it is illegal content >.< In response to your um yeah i would rather get one idiot gone than the whole site to have to go down because of one or two people that can't apparently read the rules or use common sense when posting something up And lastly i have two concerns with this statement I for one am planning on using Daz/Poser content they do make stuff that is free to use you know? And how is posting someone else's stuff from one game into another not taking money out of someones pocket? stealing is still stealing regardless of how little or insignificant the matter being stolen is
  6. myrmaad i have taken that discussion off of here since it is off topic you will find a message in your box. But in response to your My archaic view on the subject is Unnecessary violence breeds Unnecessary violence. We as a human race are a violent people and have been from the git go (some say that we started our branch off from the "apes" by learning to use tools, tools for what? um Violence of course, to defend what was ours as well as getting the nutritional proteins that our brains need, i.e. meat and eggs.)
  7. Piracy these days i think has gotten seriously out of hand, but in the world of google and the like it is also hard to do a search for something simple without being bombarded with myriad of sites that offer such things, I go back to my saying that it is the parents responsiblity to teach the kids that stealing is wrong, and yes that is exactly what piracy is you are stealing something that someone else has. The homelife has become so chaotic and sped up in modern times that one doesn't usually sit back and think about what lack of instruction does or causes, then they wonder why their child is the one going out and boosting their "collection of Warez" just to get caught and the parents have to pay for it (I am an old adage user so i will insert one here "As you make your bed, so you must lie upon it") In response to greywaste part of the TOS is the reporting of such things if it is illegal it is partly on you (the user, not you specifically) to inform those in charge that such procedures/practices are taking place Myrmaad I agree that what the guy did ( It says he beat him, but with Biasness in the news and who is to say that the kid didn't receive a spanking and not a beating though?) was uncalled for. However i don't agree with the other part of your statement 100%. You but only have to turn on the TV or walk around in the schools today, we as a society let a lot more slip through than used to; however as parents it is our responsibility to teach our kids what is approved and what is disapproved behavior. This is the part that i find is seriously lacking in today's age. If I have told my son to not do something (i.e. pull the dogs tail) More then a few times the next time i have to say it yes he is going to receive a little pop on his behind or a pop on his hand for it. Consider the alternative, sooner or later the dog is going to get fed up and all out bite him in the face or on his hand and draw blood. So i for one am a believer in Properly preformed corporal punishment (another ideal that is somehow lost today in the shuffle) Corproal punishment is a means to correct an undesired behavior by providing a consequence or the association of something bad with the act NOT as a means to relieve parental frustration
  8. I for one (and i guess i am pretty alone in this judging by the responses here) actualy do take the time to read the TOS and other such information. Not necessarily, they all say pretty much the same thing but different sites also have different rules (for example the difference between this site the Nexus and the "other" site the Underground) In response to the common sense thing, I may step on a few toes but Common sense isn't something you are just born with. Your parents are supposed to teach that to you at an early stage in life, however with all the PC things out there of what you can and can't say or do to your child (I.E Beat the Crap outta your kid for taking a shovel to the dogs head 0.o, yes i read that in a news clipping somewhere, the father got prison, not jail, time for a year i think) Sorry but I am not going to raise my kid to be stupid so yes he will get a spanking for the "stupid" stuff he does (the legal wording states that you may not leave any long term (i think an hour or two? or something like that been awhile since i looked that up) marks on your child, again that should be common sense but it is not. So all you young ones out there that don't have kids but plan to in the future, for (Insert your deity here) sake teach your kids right from wrong... that is really all common sense is
  9. Uploaded Enjoy all who were on the look out for it :)
  10. Ok well this is what i have come up with, I am working on all the Default Male versions and then will make some for the RMF, I have already noticed that i will have to darken it up a bit as it mismatches the armour right now http://www.newvegasnexus.com/imageshare/images/930703-1302565759.jpg
  11. Yes it is mostly all textures, the actual Textures encompass a little over 700MB when not zipped down >.< and the Meshes are a little over 313MB unzipped, I have looked through them again today and there were no dupes to be found there are a few "extra" textures inside but those will be getting use in later updates. Plus i was not planning on being done with the conversions since i still have quite a few requests out there for some  it seems as though i may have to break them up manually and create a few different Mods for the same mod (i.e. RivensCostumes1, RivensCostumes2, etc.) I was hoping to get the whole zip thing sorted out so i wouldn't have to do that. You are more then welcome to have a look at it yourself though :) i have it up on MegaUpload in the Mirror section of the mod.
  12. Well from my trials yes that seems to be the case, I am not entirely sure exactly how Bethesda or Obsidian accomplished it but they managed it somehow, I am just in the dark as to how >.< And that would be very nice but the BSA alone is 455,258KB which is well over (the rest only amounts to about 30-32MB) and going through the files again it is the textures that are really posing the problem. If anyone knows how the split was made possible for the Main Fallout files I would be very very interested in knowing how >.< Thanks Davidallen for at least trying to help come up with a solution.
  13. As i said i have actually tried it :) I had made one BSA for the Textures named RivensCostumes - Textures.bsa and then split the Meshes into two different files naming them RivensCostumes - Meshes.bsa and RivensCostumes - Meshes2.bsa (Named the esp RivensCostumes instead of RivensCostumeMod as previously) similar naming structure as the Fallout ones inside the data folder. The issue was that i would get the big Red ! Diamonds in game for items listed in the files, I agree that the game will read any BSA placed into the Data folder but as far as i know the names must sync with your file. The only fix i was able to come up with was by adding them to the sUnessentialFileCacheList= inside the Ini file. Once i added them to that list everything then showed up fine. I am by no means a File Compression expert, if I am not doing some key step by all means tell me; As i would love to split the BSA up >.<. But using the program Alzip or even Izarq i am able to span the .Zip Archives into separate 250MB files the only problem is that the extension these programs use (alzip appends an .egg and the Izarc appends a .z01) is not supported by the Nexus File system. Actually the Izarc one would be Ideal as the Alzip i understand as a lot of people prefer the Free programs rather then paying for them, which alzip requires after the 60 day free trial is up. and Izarc is as far as i know completely free (I just tend to go by the old "You get what you pay for" adage)
  14. The BSA in question are all the Mesh/Textures used in the Costumes mod, Everything in it is either in use by the mod or required for the mod to be (there are a few textures here and there that are in there that will be in use in an update or two down the line; however whether i figure it out now or then doesn't matter i will still need to know) As you yourself are probably fully aware Meshes themselves take a lot of space (I am sure there are some ways of reducing the size such a reducing polys and such, however i am not inclined to alter someone elses mesh in such a drastic manner) I wouldn't mind breaking it up into separate BSA's such as The devs have done like Fallout - Textures.BSA and Fallout - Textures2.BSA however when i tried doing it as they have it one or the other was not showing up, and the only way i can think of to get them to is to have everyone alter their .ini file to include them in the EssentialCache list, however the only problem i see there (well for Fallout 3 anyway) was that you are only allowed a certain length for that? (not positive but i remember something about this) and I know that later down the road if i take that route (altering the ini) i will no doubt have at least 112 characters taken up by the *Costumes alone (Data\RivensCostumes-Meshes.bsa|RivensCostumes-Meshes2.bsa, Data\RivensCostumes-Textures.bsa|RivensCostumes-Textures2.bsa) I would much rather keep it simple for everyone and not have to go that route, and just find a way to break the file down into separate files. Which right now i cold do (break into a multi volume archive each file no more then 300MB using a program i have used before called Alzip, however i see no option for that program in the list  and the options i do get (7-zip and WinRar) want to break it down to either 10MB files or the next 600MB files. The 10MB files allows you to upload up to 20 and when i do it with either of those programs it takes up about 45-47 different files.... There has got to be a better way, although i still have yet to find anyone actually using the system put forth on here so maybe it just doesn't work as advertised? If any Mods/Admin read this please take a look at this Program ALZIP as it allows you to choose your own file size (unless there is an option in the others that i am missing somehow) And at least discuss the possibility of maybe adding it to the list of choices in the Multi-file Upload section (if it is already able to be used you must really tell me how >.< cause it didn't work when i tried it :) it said something about not being the right type of file? ) *Edit* The word vendor was changed to the word Costumes >.<
  15. Well i will take no response as there is none out there so I will see what i can come up with at some point :D
  16. Ok first off let me state that i have done some searching around on the nexus sites (TES, FO3, FNV) for an example of how it was done but my search did not come up with anything (searching by size). In my upload Rivens Costume Mod the BSA alone is 455MB by itself when low compression is used. When i zip everything associated with the mod using Ultra compression in the 7-Zip utility the resulting archive is 470MB >.< now i tried looking into splitting the archive so that i could upload to the nexus (hence the searching) Now i am not extremely fluent with archiving i will admit, most the time i just highlight all the items right click and add to archive, so this may be a simple matter of doing things a bit different, however i can only see a very few options that goes from 10MB to 600MB are there options in between this? And if there is a better way to make a 300MB file for upload please tell me how :ermm: cause I would really like to not have to host the file on a site like Mega upload as a mirror. Thanks for any that reply with a solution...
  17. :) the football pads i would be ok with if it weren't for the skirt, I mean i can understand why they would use the football pads since there are quite a few out there and can be found in any school or sports store (i can kinda understand the skirt out of convenience) But I have seen very few pictures if any of a roman Legion that doesn't have some kind of leather straps hanging  So if they got the Idea out of a book somewhere then it would have some form of straps hanging...
  18. hehe there it is but it is a bit dark can't see all the good little bits ;)
  19. I am looking for a mod that may or may not be out there as of yet, but if not it should be hehe. I played my last character on the "evil" side of things and chose the Legion path for her but I was extremely disappointed at the outfits mainly the skirt portion where they used cloth inside of strips of leather like a real Roman Legionnaire would where. This is not a request for one >.< if i find that no one has undertaken it i may attempt it myself or post the actual request in the proper forum. Right now i am just trying to find something that looks similar to this http://www.wondercostumes.com/imgzoom/roman-armour-rubber-19727.jpg or maybe even this one :) http://www.weaponsemporium.com/WE-Greek%20Armour%206071R.jpg It just kinda kills my mood (immersion i guess you could call it) when i see how the Devs sidestepped this in the making of the Legion and just chose the cloth skirt
  20. I may be speaking out of turn since i only helped with the rigging of it, but i know a guy who is working on a similar set of armour to the one you are describing only it uses various bits of other armours and some pieces of the Handyman Robot as well as including a vault sign :) I would post one of my screens of it, but again i do not want to step on his toes until he says it is ok :) I will send him a link to this thread and if he wants he can post a screen of it
  21. I thought i had seen some somewhere (the poodle skirt) but when i went to search i couldn't find them so i was working on the assumption that they had been removed for one reason or another. I don't remember the bowling shirts though hehe those would be Ideal for the tops casino after Benny "disappears" and whats his name takes over for a more relaxed look  and was thinking more of a leather "greaser" jacket and jeans for the Kings instead of the jailhouse rocker although there are leather jackets galore so that wasn't requested hehe I am not old enough to remember them but i do remember the Soc-Hop nights we had at the community rec center and absolutely love the style back then... not the "retro-look" they have of them around these days
  22. Ok I was going through my old mod ideas, and found one that i think would be hella sweet :) Prewar Fallout was an offbeat Tomorrow-World of how people thought in the 50's right? well i remember seeing some "Wolrd of Tomorrow" specials a long time ago and they still wore the same 50's style clothing, much like the suits and outfits that are still in Fallout, but whats missing are the casual everyday items such as Bowler shirts, Poodle skirts, Plaid shirts, etc. (some example links below) Anyone else think they would be a perfect fit for the Fallout world? (FO3 and FNV) anyway anyone that could make even a few of these would have my undieing gratitude. Since i am requesting them, I will also offer my services as to anything i can actually do, i.e. convert them, put them in game, fuddle with textures (I only have very basic UV knowledge and experience); you can see any of my mods I have released to see examples of what i am capable of doing. My one true drawback is that i can't create much from scratch, most of what i do come from either examples of stuff that i tremendously alter, or simply convert to a Fallout usable format. So even if someone can just make the Blender files (or any format that blender can use) I can get them working in game, however they will be yours to release and such. 50's Fashion for Women 50's Fashion for Men 50's Style Bowling Shirts 50's Style Casual Dresses 50's style Poodle Skirts the main ones i really want would be the Plaid button up shirts and the Poodle Skirts, and as i said if you make the model and textures i will do the tedious part for you if needs be  Thanks for giving this a read and even more thanks if you decide to tackle it
  23. Hehe Thank you very much Gusano, it isn't very often i wakr up and the first thing i see makes me actually Laugh out loud :) must be the hats but i can actually see it >.<
  24. Hey there I was just curious as to if anyone would like to do up an outfit for me :) I am in need of a outfit for a new companion (soon to be released) First let me state up front that i am not a Lorehound as in my game i feel it is my Lore so I would really like to see this outfit. I haven't given it a try yet but with the requests i have on my plate right now i may not get to even attempting this until a few years down the road haha. So i thought i would post and see if anyone else had any interest in it. The outfit i am looking for is the blue one the "stewardesses" are wearing at the beginning.... with the popped collar and heels if possible ;) Thanks for reading and have a great night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYk9-n0kbBo&NR=1
  25. Yeah but whose to say that in the alternate Fallout Universe Detroit suffered the same Downfalls this one has :) I for for would love to see Detroit, it wouldn't have been a main target for our time-line, But i miss Detroit so i would have to put a second to Goliaths hehe. actually to be honest one place that i haven't seen mentioned is Australia (I may have missed it) I wouldn't think Australia wouldn't have been hit as hard...Surfing anyone? 8)
