  1. if you are on windows 7 or vista you find your savegames (along with a lot of other stuff) in My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\ The saves are in the Characters\<character name>\ Subfolder To be on the save side I'd recommend to just copy the whole BioWare folder to your laptop, so no installed mods or DLC gets lost. I guess you should run the configuration tool on your laptop after that before running the game as some settings may not work on your laptop (the setings are stored in the same folder). I have no guaranties this will work however - never tried it myself. If you are on XP I have no idea where the saves are stored, sorry. hope I could help, alex
  2. The mage origin worked for me without problems in both the unpatched game and after patching it to 1.2. I guess it's a problem with one of your mods. I found DAO to be bug free (at least come to mind). I only started to have problems after I installed some mods (unfortunately all of them at the same time so now i have no idea which one is causing them). hope that helps, alex
  3. hi there, I have Dragon age patched to version 1.2 and Wardens keep, stone prisoner and return to ostegar installed (the last one wasn't worth the money btw). somewhere during my first playthrough I installed the following mods: Character Respecialization Plus Healing Received Fix Helm Removal Personal Annoyance Remover Critical Hit Chance Quickfix Dog Gift Tweaks Of Noble Cast Advanced Tactics Stamina Potion Recipe Mod after installing them I experienced infrequent crashes that weren't there before. When there was either a lot of spellcasting going on or enemies were spawning (= whenever when there was a lot of graphic effects happening). I was never able to reproduce them. After restarting the game the same battle would cause no trouble (but it's really(!) annoying when your last save is like hours ago) is any of these mods known to cause crashes? i'm on windows 7 32bit w/ a Radeon X1900 and a Core 2 Duo btw if that helps. and is the following bug caused by any of these? (BEWARE - SPOILERS) (BEWARE - SPOILERS) (BEWARE - SPOILERS) (BEWARE - SPOILERS) (BEWARE - SPOILERS) I'm halfway in my second playthrough right now and I did the mages tower 1st. in redcliff I fought the demon in the fade to keep conner alive. I let jowan (or jovan?) perform the ritual to enter the fade sacrificing the arless. now it says in my journal the mages of the circle performed the ritual. I don't know if this is a bug in the game itself (my 1st playthrough was a chantry-going human noble who would have nothing to do with such vile magic and killed conner instead, so i don't know) or caused by one of the mods? (BEWARE - SPOILERS) thx4help, alex btw: 1st post, wohoo! btw2: english is not my 1st language, so plz don't be hard on me cause of spelling ;)
