Windows 8.1, I have no error codes actually, it just says Windows couldnt install the update, undoing changes. The update history shows NO UPDATE at all, and no errors either, even if I have installed several other updates today. I have found several hotfixes online, all of which were actually ALREADY installed on my computer and none of them work. Yes I have tried installing .NET 4.6, it displays an error saying I need the specific update before being able to install it. I suppose upgrading to Windows 10 is an option, but as I work from my PC I'm a bit afraid of any repercussions on some of my softwares/VPN and stuff if I upgrade... EDIT: Yes my copy is legitimate, it came with my PC when I bought it EDIT2: My god have I massacred that title, I was watching TV while typing, apologies.

I have spent the entire afternoon trying to install the god forsaken Windows KB 2919355 update (which is required to install .NET 4.6 in the first place) to no avail. Nothing I find online works and I am sick and tired of wasting time and bandwidth on this dumb thing (because obviously windows update downloads the entire goddamn thing EVERY TIME I try). Are there any versions of NMM I can use that do not require .NET 4.6 but still allow modding for Fallout 4?
