  1. I am trying to change Preston Garvey's default outfit. (and his weapon, eventually...but...baby steps, for now) I open the creation kit, and load the Fallout4 ESM. I make an outfit called "prestonfixeroutfit" that consists of military fatigues, military cap, and patrolman sunglasses. I open the Preston Garvey character, and change his default outfit to the one I made. (In the render window, he now has on the outfit I created). I save it as "Prestonfixer.esm". The .esm I created is in the data folder... it shows up in the mod manager, with a check mark... it shows up with an asterix in the plugins file... It shows up in the "mods" section of the start screen, with a check mark. BUT...When I load a game, Preston is still wearing his original outfit, and it completely un-edited. I have not done any Creation Kit modding since New Vegas...YEARS ago...and I forgot how to do most of it. What am I missing??? Any help greatly appreciated.
  2. Is it possible to make it so guards stand at guard posts with their weapons drawn and lowered, instead of standing there with no weapon in their hands?
  3. I know some people like them, but I personally HATE the Argonian, and Kajiit races in the game... To me...people walking around looking like lizards and cats is just cheesy...LoL I would love for someone to convert those two races to human form.
  4. I would like to make the vanilla Skyrim ebony sword use a different model. Can this be done without the CK? ...If so, how?
  5. Hi all... I downloaded a companion, but decided I wanted to give him different clothes, and a different weapon. I was able to change his clothes in the GECK with no problems, but the weapon I give him dissappears from his inventory as soon as I save the file. Both the weapon, and the clothes are downloaded mods. I am trying to give him a Remington700 sniper rifle that I downloaded. I add the rifle in his inventory, with the proper ammo.... Then I save the file, and exit. If I go right back into the GECK without even attempting to play the game, and open this character's inventory, the rifle is no longer there. I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out why.
  6. Hi, all... Just starting to mess around with the GECK, and nifscope. I am trying to adjust the point of impact, when looking through the iron sights of the service rifle... It needs to be lowered so the point of impact is right on top of the front sight post when looking down the sights. In game, the rifle shoots too high. I have opened it in nifscope and tried lowering the aiming node, but that just changes the way you look through the sights. I need to lower the point of impact, while keeping the view through the sights centered. Should I mess with the projectile node?.... Does something need to be done in Blender, or GMAX? I have noticed that a very nice M4A1 mod that I downloaded also seems to have the problem of the point of impact being too high. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
