  1. Yes, you might be right. It asked me something about whether I wanted to clean the cache from previous version , and i said no. Maybe i should have said yes.... I will try and let you know if it works
  2. Thanks for replying but I'm not sure I understand. FO4EXIT is an .exe, I installed the whole folder into my existing fallout 4 root folder as usual, so I just overwrites files from the previous version. The way I'm running it is similar to what you're doing in vortex and has always worked for me up until this new update: create a shortcut onsite MO2 to open FO4EDIT. I have checked the header version, it's all fine. That is so weird. I'm having to run FO4edit on a very old version :(
  3. HI all I-ve got this weird issue when updating from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 or latest 4.1.5f which Ive never seen before. There are many weird references, and I see so many FORM ID that are completely empty on the right screen. I do use Mo2 and have been launching FO4 edit from MO2 for countlessyears without issue. BUt it seems like if I update, I do see those weird empty records. If i revert back to 4.0.3 I dont have this issue anymore. Am I doing something wrong?
  4. I'm still having the same issue, whether using a bat file or inputting commands directly into "sStartingConsoleCommand". Had anyone figured out a solution yet?
  5. I actually installed the 4GB patched which modified the .exe After restoring the backup it seems the installer is now working fine for me. Question: should I reapply the 4GB patch again, or it is alrdy included?
  6. Hi guys, So this is not really a bugfix but more like a feature request. The Neons Flat DLC gives you a player home in Goodneighbor. But every time I enter, I just want to go to the level 3 directly where there is a big central room I can customize. Is there any way / or any mod that lets you do that?
  7. Lol me too. Although Iâd be certainly happy to stick to my FO4 if Fallout 76 has limited modding and bad solo playthrough. When this mod is finally released, would it be possible to make a clean save without having to start a whole new game? - load game, go to home plate (or empty cel), save - uninstall WOTC - reload the game, save - install your new mod Thanks for your answer
  8. Patch notes say the game start has been accelerated. Is it true? Did it also accelerate the game saves loading time ? That didnât accelerate anything for me, how about you guys??
  9. Iâve nuked both BOS and Institute. I went to a roof and detonated a nuclear bomb to blow the institute, then had a speech with Desdemona. After that she tells me to go to Diamond city with some bla bla, i got back to the usual radiant quest givers (PAM and the doctor). But I have not seen any ending video at all! Did I do something wrong? In the case where my mods may have broken/deleted the ending video, can anyone let me know where the ending videos are supposed to be stored in my Fallout 4/data folder?
  10. Hey guys, So Iâm starting a new play through as a Raider evil character. However, Nuka World is not a faction you can do the ending with... you have to choose one of the major factions: - minutemen: a big no no imo - institute: despite being both evil, they donât have much in common - railroad: another big no no. Raiders donât care about human lives, even less so about synths - Brotherhood of Steel: the usual BOS from previous Fallout, Fallout 2, Tactics, fallout 3 and New Vegas were very noble. But the BOS in Fallout 4 behave like proper thugs / raiders to me (worshipping technology, blackmailing settlers etc). In my opinion, BOS would be a solid choice for Raider Playthrough, although if you have played the other previous fallout games, it may seem counterintuitive. What do you guys think?
  11. Hey guys, So ive been pretty unimpressed that Super Mutants at high levels (lvl 150) still spawn with pipe guns.... Do you know how to modify their inventories and put better weapons on Super Mutants? I can use FO4Edit, but im going to need some guidance, if anyone can help? Many thanks
  12. Hi all, With the huge number of assault rifles mods (for example in Nexus modding website), I was wondering why there has not been Grenade launcher attachments made yet? There is a Hotkey mod out by Registrator2000 and I think it could well be used. I am not a modder, but do you guys know what is holding back? Ps: I am aware of Modern Firearms mod, but everything looks so off balance in terms of damage, it's not really my play style.
  13. Hey Guys, Iâm still fiddling with some of the settings in the Launcher to try and improve frame rate. I saw that by lowering actor fade to bare minimum I had a huge increase in FPS. Since I am using WOTC (Itâs a mod that increases the number of spawns), I was wondering if this has an impact on the mod? Or the effect is just visual but the spawns are still there, I just need to move closer?
  14. Hi all, Do you remember in Fallout New Vegas, when you switch weapon, it would show you the name of the weapon you are using? Well looks like this feature has disappeared in Fallout 4. Is there a mod that would achieve that?
  15. Hi Guys, So I have a very small HDD of 128 gb where I have Windows 10 OS and fallout 4 only. This is my C:/ Folder It looks like this: C:/Games/fallout 4 (game folder) C:/Games/Nexus Mod Manager/.../nmmLink I have D:/ which is a 1 TB hdd (quite slow 5400 rpm) where I install NMM and all where I download all the mods. So I have enabled multiple drives / virtual folder and run NMM in administrator mod. Installing mods from NExus Mod Manager in D:/, I realise the mods are placed in 2 folders in C:/ They are placed in my fallout 4/data folder (which is normal) but the same content is also replicated into NMMLink folder (same drive but outside of fallout 4 folder). Reading some old forum topics from 2015, some people say the files placed in fallout 4/data folder are in fact "fake", they merely redirect to NMMLink where the content is. Is there any bad consequence If I just cut all files from NMMLinks and paste directly into fallout/4data folder? Or betetr yet, Just copy from NMMLinks and pasting into Fallout4/Data folder? Many thanks if you can help a newbie  PS: I am asking this for backup reasons - Iâd like to know which files are needed and not so I can transfer the whole thing to another computer.
