You think that maybe, JUST MAYBE you could LOOSE the AUTO-LOADING bullcrap ads? Those invasive BS things are really pissin' me off!!
-
How about ANYTHING related to ZAMM?
-
Well at least I'm not the only person who despises those "talky ads"!!! I don't care who PAYS for the ads, the only stipulation is the sound should ONLY be OPTIONAL!!!!!!!
-
yup, I just got nailed by that fake viruscanner crap in the Dragon Age nexus.....some filthy pecker needs to be loraina'd!! fortunately, I have "hijack this" and it didn't get a foothold, unlike my xp machine, poor thing, barely knew what hit it. anyways in all seriousness could somebody screen those friggen' ads??
-
or if you really don't like fighting as the proverbial 98lb weakling.......you could spend a few minutes in Ostagar, ramping up your XP to ridiculous heights, and levelling to 25 before setting foot outside there. YEAH yeah, cheaters never get anywhere, I just refuse to have my ass handed to me by anything stronger than a NUG!

actually for the most part, no. you can set-up quests in all areas(except for redcliffe), and complete them in any order, that being said,.......the main plot quests are best done after gaining a bit of XP. Don't get ahead of yourself and expect to complete any major storyline quests, until you have progressed into the entire map though. This is no easy undertaking, and first time players might try doing Redcliffe to early(you were warned). And about your PC, I would advise looking closely at the "Recommended specs", and be ready to not use the "Max" settings.

spoiler The ending of the game
sparks454alive replied to Retribution's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Discussion
Although, having Morrigan come blasting into your home(wherever you start out), and asking for your assistance in a "rather delicate situation", involving a "rogue" teenager, from the previous storyline, would make for an interesting starting point. Playing as said "god" would be way to contrite, impossible to assertain your specs, and just plain ridiculous, from a RPG standpoint, sorry. -
Approval before lelianna's personal quest should be below 60% if memory serves me correct. Actually now that you got me thinking, the "ball" really picked up speed after our "run-in" with Marjolaine, but you have to get lelianna to bring up the subject. Every chance I got I was chattin' her up, even outside camp.

spoiler Highever *Spoilers?*
sparks454alive replied to Flash432's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Discussion
Please don't take this as an insider trying to start rumours, but there will be a fair number of DLC's in the future. I too am looking forward to revenge and just plain old exploration of Ferelden. So far a "return to Ostagar" is in the final stages before release. -
Some items in inventory disappearing?
sparks454alive replied to jerby's topic in Dragon Age: Origins's Mod Troubleshooting
Oh my, that sounds quite aggravating, however , I can tell you that the mods I use haven't messed with my inventory are: natural body's, and the inventory expander(that's the mod that increases my backpack to 125). I hope that helps narrow it down a little for you. -
Ah, but here's the scrape.......all I did was refresh a page in the mods section, and my AV went berserk, warning me of an infected webpage. As for those ads, I couldn't tell you which ad it was that caused the near miss, but it's in here somewhere. and no, I don't click on ads, I just refresh the page to reload a different ad, hopefully one that doesn't scream in my speakers.

Ok, I understand not everyone can afford to run a website, complete with Downloads and forums, but for $#@! sake, do they have to "wake the dead" with the ever so annoying Music and Idiotic Blathering? What ever happened to browsing in peace? Oh and there's a trojan in one of the ads too!
-
that's just it though, this has been happening for the last several weeks. normally, I just keep reloading the site until it works correctly, but last night and early(2AM) this morning, i could not get it to load. I apologize for coming off as rude or incompetent, just frustrating sometimes, y'know.

lately, I've noticed an increase of the number of incorrect connection attempts, namely I try to load the Fallout 3 nexus main page, and get nothing but a network message asking to do a diagnostic on my ethernet subsystem. And this ONLY occurs in F3nexus. what the hell's wrong with that site?
-
while trying to stay on topic, the sites are being utilized by to many people. i'm guessing to much bandwidth is being used. My problem isn't downloading(although i do get issues), my problem is purely trying to get FalloutNexus to even load a web page. Including every time i advance to a new page.(assuming i get in at all)
