  1. So I recently reinstalled the game after my old Harddrive crashed. I rebuilt my mod load order from scratch and I started a new game. Immediately I noticed an audio problem. In the pre-war section Nate's dialogues with Nora would have no audio, but when I activated an object or tried talking to her the audio would play normally. Then later on I noticed that the sound of entering VATS was inaudible as was the sound of queing up attacks on a target in VATS. Harvesting various plants has no audio and scrapping things has no audio. also terminals seem to be silent as well. I have the game Music set at 0 but I can hear the game's ambient noise, critter noise, gunshots and reload sounds as well as character movement, breathing etc. I've tried verifying the game's files in Steam and that didn't work either. The only thing I can think of is that when I uninstalled Fallout 4 before I didn't uninstall the various files in My Documents/ My Games/ Fallout 4 including ini files and Fallout 4 is now installed to a different directory than it was previously. Other than fully 100% uninstalling the game and reinstalling does anyone know how I can get all of my audio back? Edit Nevermind. I had somehow accidentally changed my PC's audio settings and that was screwing everything up. A major league OOF moment.
  2. So I'm looking for a mod new or old that adds creatures from Far Harbor and Nuka World to the Main game Commonwealth. I'm particularly interested in Hermit crabs from Far Harbor. I know there are a number of mods that add in new creatures but many of these mods either add in totally new creatures or are very limited, only adding in a creature or two. I would like to see a mod that can add in most if not all of the DLC creatures into the main game, particularly the Hermit Crab from Far Harbor.

Okay, so I'm having a problem where my actual workshop workbench emits power in a HUGE radius around it and this is very problematic when doing builds where you are trying for a very specific lighting and/or electrical grid. Now I have been informed that the workshop doesn't do this in vanilla so there must be a mod that is causing it to happen. The problem is that I have 351 mods (including a bunch of ESL's) and going through them one at a time would be a nightmare so I'm asking for a little help/advice figuring out which mod(s) are at fault. So I'm trying to create a mod that would be an addon for Hunterborn SE that would add Bone Bolts crafted through the scrimshaw system similar to the bone arrows already available through that system. The single hiccup I am having is in the Projectile section for each bolt. I need custom projectile data or else I'll have to rely on Steel or dwarven, then when the bolt is shot it will show in the world as steel or dwarven bolts in both name and appearance until picked up again. I've never done anything like this before and I don't know where to start. I've thought about using assets from other mods where the authors have given their permissions but I don't know how to get those assets into my mod or even get them to show up in the drop-down box for Projectiles in the CK.
  7. Have you tried flagging the mod as ESL in SSE Edit? If that works you could avoid some of the pitfalls of fully converting the mod to ESL.
  8. I've been wanting to see something like this for a while and so far a few mods have gotten close but none have really hit the mark. The idea is to have machines that you can build that act in the same manner as settlement vendors, providing all of the benefits of a settlement vendor but without any of the downsides. You would have one kind for each merchant type and each merchant level. So you would have level 1, 2, and 3 vending machines for weapons, armor, clothing, general goods, medicine, and food. This way you would be able to trade 24/7 and be able to have merchants in your player base without having to deal with settlers. A possible idea would be to have a way to upgrade a tier 3 vending machine to a tier 4 (just like unique merchants) by acquiring an upgrade component from certain vendors out in the world. Just to be finally clear these machines would have to act EXACTLY the same way as a normal merchant just without requiring an NPC to man the store. As I've said several mods have come close but so far none have simply provided a vending machine that acts exactly like a normal merchant. Every vending machine mod I have thus far seen has some strange issue like fixed inventory, requires pre-war money, or has bizarre animation issues. I really just want a normal vendor in a machine form, please. ETA: Nevermind.   9. Just a little heads up and FYI here. Effective range is affected by muzzle velocity which is primarily affected by barrel length. Any attachments have a very minimal effect on muzzle velocity. Silencers actually increase overall muzzle velocity. The only time when effective range would be reduced while using a silencer would be while using sub-sonic ammunition which would also decrease the 'damage' of the weapon. Subsonic ammunition is sometimes used to eliminate the crack of a bullet breaking the sound barrier (which a silencer doesn't affect) to effectively silence the weapon similar to what we see in movies. Otherwise if using standard ammunition neither the range or damage is affected in ANY way by a silencer.   10. First off I hope I'm in the right section. A friend of mine plays on LE and is running out of room in their load order. Now typically if I need more room I either uninstall some mods I'm not using or convert some small independent files to ESL. Now I've searched all over the internet and haven't found an answer. Can you actually convert oldrimESP's to ESL and can Oldrim even use ESL's? Thanks.

Essentially I'm looking for a mod that would stop the screen from shaking during certain events such as during attacks from heavy creatures or when swinging certain weapons (especially fists in unarmed) The shaking gives myself and others motion sickness and I'm honestly surprised that I haven't already seen a mod that does this (I've searched far and wide) Also, there is no setting either in the game or in the launcher settings that turns this off. I had a guy tell me there was but he had confused controller vibration for a screen setting. If there is already a mod that does this then please point it out to me. Thanks.
  14. So for the longest time I've been wanting to have a follower in Skyrim that is exactly like (or as close as possible) to that Female high elf that's in most of the ESO Trailers. A backstory and personal quests would be ideal as would be custom voiced dialogue. Making her Marriable would be a major plus as well. I know I'm not the only one.

  16. So several weeks ago I saw a mod review of Pine Forest by massShep and ever since I have been wanting to download it. However, when I go to the mod page it says that it is under moderation review. It has been like this for weeks. So I have installed a few ESL files following the instructions posted online to the tee and also converted several small mods to ESL format for my own use and all of the ESL files worked fine in game. However today while downloading more mods several of my ESL files just stopped working. I can confirm that the ESL files are present in the data folder and that they are listed in the plugins folder with a star next to the name i.e. *Example1 *thisthing2 etc. Hoeverregardless the ESL plugins just flat out won't work. What's odd is that its not affecting all of them but just a few of them. I've worked for the past 2 hours to try to fix this problem and tried everything I can think of with no luck. I'm at my wits end. If anyone has a clue of how to get these ESL files to work again like they should then I would greatly appreciate the help.

I am looking for vending machines that act exactly like the regular, settler assigned vendors for weapons, armor, clothing, doctor, general goods and Food&drink. I've used one of the mods that Agamendor listed and that's not what I'm talking about at all.
  19. Something I have wanted to see for awhile now is a sort of passive buildable merchant ala vending machine. In other words, build a general goods vending machine in a settlement and it acts as a vendor for general merchandise with all the perks that you usually get for having that store type but without having to have an NPC assigned to it. The machines should work just like regular merchants, opening the vendor window and allowing you to buy and sell with caps and invest money if you have the correct perk. Personally, I think this would be a big hit, especially with people that want a home base but without whiny settlers constantly bickering about something.
  20. In Oldrim or the Original Skyrim if you leveled up multiple times in quick succession then the level up music would only play once when you opened the skills menu. Now in SSE it will continously play over and over for every level you have gained which is EXTREMELY annoying. There needs to be a way to stop this from happening.
  21. I really would like to se a mod for SE that will make it so that the lightning from the storm call shout only strikes enemies. If someone could do this or give me instructions on how I could do this myself in the CK I would be really greatful. Thanks.
