  1. Hello everyone! I've recently become re-obsessed with The Edge Chronicles, and I was wondering if it would be possible to have a flyable skycraft from Rook's Trilogy in Skyrim? All you have to do is google "Skycraft edge chronicles" to see what they look like; a curved prow with a carved animal head at the front (I guess a wolf would do for skyrim) attached to a seat with a long thin mast behind it (that connects the main sail to the front of the prow) and a long, flat back; two weights are connected under the seat on the hull, and another sail is connected there as well. Obviously, it wouldn't really need all the teeny tiny details (like moving sails or weights or whatever), I would just love the experience of flying around on a skycraft in Skyrim. If this mod itself isn't possible, does anyone have any recommendations that allow your dragonborn to fly in something that's not very bulky?
  2. I was just scrolling through the various flyable dragon mount mods (where you can actually control the dragon, unlike with the Dragonborn DLC) and I wondering if there were mods for smaller dragons that didn't take up so much space on the screen, and then I remembered the dragon aspect shout and thought What about giving the Dragonborn actual dragon-like features? What if your Dovahkiin could sprout wings and fly? So yes, that is my request. I would love to be able to use the Aspect of Dragon/Dragon Aspect shout (can't remember it's exact name) to be able to grow wings and fly in a steerable manner. For the appearance and camera movement of the mod, I imagine something along the lines of (if this is even remotely possible, I have no idea because I know nothing at all about modding) your character having cosmetic wings flap and move according to your movements (somehow utilizing the Vampire Lord wings, I assume is possible?) and the game acting as if you are underwater, with the ability to travel in any direction, including up and down, as if you were swimming, or whatever would work best. Ideally, the body in motion would be at an angle according to your flight path, kinda like a superman pose, and then you just hover vertically when you're not going in any direction. I would love to be able to do all this both in 1st person and 3rd person perspective, with the option of toggling between them, as well as aerial combat, including magic, bows, and melee weapons, though, since I know literally nothing about modding, I have no idea if any of this is possible in the first place—but for anyone willing to make this dream of mine a reality, you'll have my eternal gratitude :) However, if this mod is actually impossible, I have found three mods that I could use together, to make this...kinda happen: (Just without the flapping motion I would love to see) Alduin's Wings (craft-able): http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15692/? Alduin's Scale Armour: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11259/? Flying Mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15775/? OR, Instead of Alduin's wings, the Devil's Wings from this mod, which DOES have flapping wings, but when equipted they go into the quiver slot, so I wouldn't be able to use a bow with them on: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24950/?
  3. Hello everyone! This is my first post over to Nexus :) Through writing Fanfiction, I've come to absolutely love the Falmer race--and I don't just mean proper snow-elves, I mean the vicious, blind Falmer that live in the abandoned Dwemer cities. What I would love to see in the game would be a hidden faction of Falmer, still blind, still physically twisted, but have retained all of their sentience; they have set up quite the nice settlement in one of the larger ruins and are attempting to help their more feral brethren by teaching them the language, giving them alternate food sources to skeevers (such as vegetables grown underground), improved armor from Charus, etc etc. In helping the 'Ascended Falmer' (as I mentally dubbed them while writing), you can join the Falmer faction so regular Falmer living in dungeons won't attack you (and you can in fact trade with them, they would sell gems, ores, ingredients and charus armor); this mod would also include different factions within the Falmer, such as Falmer Raiders, who climb onto the surface and raid towns and cities, Falmer Vampires, Rabid Falmer, who are much stronger, very vicious, and can inflict diseases, as well as friendly Falmer followers (both the vanilla and Ascended varieties), adoptable Falmer children (I want to adopt one, Gorram it!) and marry-able spouses. Yes. you can tell I love the feral snow elves, can't you?
