  1. That won't work. You must uncheck all armors and weapon DLC's before creating a new character. Once in the game, you save, exit and check everything you unchecked. If you have already made a character with everything checked you can check and uncheck, exit and force load until you are blue in the face and the armor/weapon will never show up for that character. Hope that clarified things. What he's saying that there are some mods that that doesn't work with. I have the same problem with Blade Dancer. I uncheck the mod in DLC, then start a new game, save and then check it and it doesn't work. The only way I got it to work was uninstall, remove all the files, and then remove all references to it in the "Documents\\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings\AddIns.XML" just to get it to work. That's why I suggested making a load script in Toolset to make it easier.
  2. Maybe try creating a summon script with toolset for items rather than try to uninstall and reinstall. I've used this for items I've made myself to add them to inventory so it should work for other items? http://social.bioware.com/wiki/datoolset/index.php/Tutorial:_Adding_custom_items_to_custom_modules
  3. I had this problem with Win7 with ati radeon hd 5700 and also tried nvidia gforce 8800gt. Basically, it's not the card, it's that the program can't find the texture.
  4. From my experiances, whenever the program can't find a texture file it defaults to black. This happens sometimes with chargen files especially, except if it can't find a face preset in which case it will CTD. It's usually caused by problems with the chargenmorphcfg.xml. In my case it was Pineappletree's Vibrant Eye Colors but could happen with any number of files I guess. Example: open the file "C:\Users\Name\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override\Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors 1_31\Pineappletree's Vibrant Eye Colors 1_2" and copy all the .tnt files to "C:\Users\Name\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override" ....then reset your game's video settings and it should work.
  5. I had the same problem.........what I did was take all of the eye tint files ("pt_eye_cam.tnt" for example) out of the subfiles and put them into the main override file and PROBLEM SOLVED.....all the eye colors work fine now.
