No matter what game I'm playing, if there's a dog companion I will ALWAYS name it Dogmeat.

I recently downloaded the "Commonwealth Of Gamers" add-on and installed as per instruction, plonking everything into my Fallout 3/Data file. I've got Mod Manager installed but whenever I try to start up the game after selecting the appropriate file, the game will start up and the "slideshow" start-up menu will play, but the little green cursor won't appear so I cannot create a new game or load my current one. I had a number of different mods running at the time so, thinking it was a conflict, I turned everything off except for my DLCs. Again, the same thing happened- the cursor is not showing up and i can't access the start-up menus. It's frustrating as all hell as I was really looking forward to playing that mod. :( Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, any tips on how i can avoid this annoyance in the future? I'm not running FOSE as I'm not exactly an expert with scripting-based programs. If anyone needs a mod list of what I had running, I'll gladly provide. (no home internet so I can't upload it right now...)

Life-long Nintendo nerd here. First console I ever owned was the gloriously chunky, built-like-a-tank NES. http://outernal.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/nes.jpg Ahhh, good times to be had by all. You had to practically prise my hands off the controllers with a crowbar just to pull me away from playing original Mario games. Sadly, my lovely console suscumbed to the blithe of dust bunnies in the cartridge case and it stopped working completely. I later went on to enjoy the mighty Super Nintendo-which until I eventually can afford a Wii, will remain my all time favorite Nintendo console. I've also had an Nintendo 64 with Mario, PokEmon Stadium (complete with Gameboy transfer pack!) and Xena the game. Then came the Playstation 1 and Final Fantasy VII. I defacted to Sony and got through THREE of the damned things, largely due to water damage, thieving older siblings or general wear and tear. One of them even happened to be the ever-so-dinky little PsOne version. http://image.hotdog.hu/_data/members1/941/616941/images/egyeb_fotok/ps/psone.jpg I always liked the design of that one. :) After that, came an original chunky Playstation 2 which my step-dad promptly proceeded to accidently drop down a flight of stairs during a clean out. >_< Currently, I've switched to PC gaming for the time being but I'm torn between getting a Playstation 3 or a Wii. After so many years, I feel compelled towards Nintendo...

Heh. I'm just on a huge Michael Jackson kick as of late. I'm a life-long fan-I was born the year the "Bad" album came out, so I can't really recall a time when I didn't listen to him. It was a real shock when he died but at least he'll finally find the peace in death that eluded him in life. Getting back on topic, I'm currently listening to LoveGame by Lady GaGa. It's insanely catchy.

Micheal Jackson- Blood On The Dancefloor.

Only thing is- what if you're standing REALLY close to the blast epi-centre;for example, the hills outside Springvale. Would there need to be a mammoth amount of coding to to create the atomic blast wave or would be similar to the effects created when firing the Experimental MIRV?

Just wondering- is it possible to create a mod that allows the player to detonate the Megaton bomb from ANY location rather than just Tenpenny Tower? Or is it an epic, impossible task involving much coding, bleeding fingers, loss of hair and coffee overdose? I only ask as I think it would be nifty to be able to view the explosion from different vantage points across the Wasteland.

Hey there, folks. Just a quick post to say that I recently purchased the first piece of my Vault 101 Security costume- a S.W.A.T style riot helmet from a local trinket-soda pop-Airsoft-supply shop. It looks IDENTICAL to the game version and was a steal at just €28. Currently, I'll be buying the "bulletproof vest" from the same store at a discount so all I really need other than a few fake guns is the all important blue jumpsuit. I've asked around to several people and it seems the best bet would be a pair of electrician's overalls, however, they are very hard to come by and they're usually beyond my budget. If at all possible, can anyone recommend a good shop or website where I can pick up a blue jumpsuit on the cheap? (I'm based in Dublin so anywhere local or a site that ships internationally would be great) I plan to use iron-on hemming to create the yellow trims though I'll probably go to a printing place to ensure I don't fudge up on the "VAULT 101" emblems. The costume is going to be tested for wear-ablity on Halloween and then debuted at this year's Eirtakon Convention in November so time is of the essence! I'd also like to hear of any tips or tricks to make the costume pop. I don't harbour delusions of winning the Best Costume award but I also don't want to look like some eejet in a crappy-ass costume. :P I'll be posting up pictures all in due time so y'all can see how things are progressing.
